Its NOT a huge difference.
So them nerfing the kneepads or any pieces or talents isnt going to change anything. Them nerfing any of the best in slot items isnt going to change anything. There will always be "The best in slot item"
The fact that people still dont get it to STOP asking for nerfs baffles me.
This wont bring diversity but instead nerf our builds and hard work of grinding to get the right pieces with the right rolls. meaning your build will become weaker.

Running contractors gloves and fox kneepads "I guess the 2 main gear piece some think are the problem" only give around ~60K damage more "Combined" if you where comparing to the none named versions. They are NAMED items. ofcourse they should be a bit better and 60K difference is NOTHING on a Min/Max build
15% CD gives about 33K damage increase on my build "Sombra"
15% out of cover damage "Fox kneepads" in place of sombra give ~50K
The diffrence is 20-30K Give or take.
Nerfing it will just make our builds weaker and not bring diversity because people will either still use it or just move to sombra.
Come on guys wake up. Its been 4 years+ with Division and you guys still haven't learned not to ask for nerfs.

Just look what happened when they nerfed the NEGEV LMG. Not only did Massive nerf it into the ground but did it change anything? NO. Everyone just moved over to the MG5 and made the NEGEV almost useless unless oyu are clowning around.
Further what was the point of "rebalancing" the Difficulties if now they are going to start nerfing our gear. "Seems they over nerfed heroic and made it too easy is my guess" Which was a BIG mistake imo but thats besides the point.
Well GG. Doesn't matter what i or anyone say. The nerfs are coming. its great to have another nerf to my build again.
This is one of the biggest issues with The division and Massive. They dont know how to just leave stuff that works alone. They jump the gun and over nerf stuff, make the game too easy again and now try to back track.
There will be even more nerfs to come and its sad.
I don't see what's the problem then. I didn't see the gear that is actually getting nerfed referenced anywhere in the OP as something you actually use. The problem is: You might as well have been rolled back if you spent dozens of hours getting perfect fox prayers and perfect contractor gloves legitly, if they are just going to be sub-par to something else, due to them nerfing it.

You basically log in, check dark zone for faster chance at an item. If it isn't the target you want, it's worthless.
PS: Massive is no good at game design. I feel bad for the Artists, and combat loop is fairly good, except skills being clunky. We had something good going in TU7, and they obliterated it with SURPRISESEX DLC, GIMMEURMUNNAY. "Beta test our game for money, Losers!" -- A BEST IN SLOT item is fine in a looter game. It's hard enough to chase a Best in Slot with perfect rolls, you morons.
It is beyond amazement that in a game all about grinding hours upon hours to squeeze out every little bit of "performance".....Massive spends so much time worrying that people are doing just that....and go out of their way to nerf it.
The game has WAY WAY WAY more problems and bugs than the fact that everyone is running around with the same kneepads just to gain a few % more of dmg.....yet somehow these bugs have gone on for weeks while Massive spends god knows how much time debating on weather 15% to something needs to be nerfed to 13% or whatever.
My all red build will be just fine without these items....I will still go all RED. These nerfs will accomplish nothing that they claim it will....such a waste of time when there are so many other problems that actually effect gameplay.
