    Why nerf gear ??

Ok you grew a pair and banned cheaters / glitchers , Good for you , about time, BUT now i see in SOTG that we have nerfs incoming ?. WHY .

The gear is already way behind the NPC , I built a set today 1.2m armour , went in to challenge open world and got one shot ?. 1.2m armour gone in a flash ?.

My striker set , my main set i use at the moment as other gear is JUNK . has 660k armour , and it can take a couple if hits most of the time , just a few secret snipers take me down with one shot , or the formula one mechanical dogs , that run around with no speed limit and one shot me..

WHY can you not fix some of the game first , ie talents will not proc ?. seekers stop and fizzle out when they reach targets ?. turret just sit and looks and NPC and say i am not shooing him ?..
Control points will not activate ?, bounties will not clear ?. and this is just the bugs from today ?.

We do not need nerfs , we need a fix and a bit of balance , we need the game to feel fun again , it is a chore at the moment unless you play normal , then it is to easy ,

Give us a bit of balance not nerfs ..

Well, you're once again cherry-picking exactly the bits of information that give you an easy target to rant about.

They answered your question already in the stream. They want build diversity. They feel that currently some items are too strong, while others are too weak, which limits perceived build viability because most people just copy the known build with the mentioned items (which _is_ very strong). So they will nerf those items a bit, while - and they explicitly said that - buffing others.

Of course, buffing other items is not a great target to rant against, so you conveniently omit that.

I agree. I’m just trying to figure out how those gloves and knee pads made through to begin with.

They are still supposed to be strong items, they literally said that in the stream. Just not as overpowered as they currently are, especially when used in combination.

Going to be hard to create build diversity, it’s just not there. Of coarse weakening the gloves and knee pads will make some other talents viable. The problem is the other combos are average to begin with.

Buffing other items to the level of the nerfed ones, means all the items will be nerfed.

Talents that were implemented in 2.0 were poorly designed. Energize and KM is an example, plus too many talents revolve around increasing skill damage.

So now we all get a build diversity of crap builds. I'm ok if you want to nerf those specific pieces of gear and at the same time adjust enemy AI health/armor. But by only nerfing specific high damage armor pieces then this results in an even greater bullet sponges. They need to either reduce enemy health or do a blanket increase in player damage similar to what a 4 to 5 stack of the polarity buff gave you.

    Because its order of balancing.

You nerf the best - then you nerf enemies.
Once you nerf the best items - the maximum potential damage decreases.
Then you can nerf enemy health - which indirectly buffs lower-performing items.

They're busy banning people, nerfting gears and adjusting NPC to immortal state. Give them enough time to ruin the game.
