They purposely introduce these "meta" items so that you and I spend time farming them.....its only after they have milked that for as long as they can (i.e everyone and their brother has them)...that all the sudden they are "OP" or "over tuned" or "not working as intended"....at which point they move on to introducing whatever the next "carrot" is. Some twisted way of keeping people playing I suppose.

Anyone that believes they did not know how desired these specific items would be is a fool.

They are named items, they have been specifically designed with the intent of being more powerful than a common item, now they take the specialty they have away.

When everybody will switch to CHC/CHD on those pieces too will they nerf CHC/CHD?

When everybody will switch to Status effect will they nerf Status effect?

FFS, I have been trying hard to have fun on this ******g game instead of it feeling like a chore, but the devs really want to cater only to those who live their lives pushing for legendary fast runs instead of those who just want to play.

Its the same thing that happened to DTE.

The cycle has been repeated so many times that it is obviously by design/intent.

Add this decision to the long list of bad decisions these team leads are making.

Balance/Diversity to these devs means all gear/builds/weapons are equally bad. That is their ultimate goal...that is why they continue to constantly put these "OP" pieces of gear...just so they can nerf them and claim they are "balancing" things. I mean are we to seriously believe they did not know what having only one kneepad or glove with a critical DPS stat would result in?

I think they think that constantly diverting what the current "meta" is is somehow a way to retain players.

    Its getting beyond old.
Agent should ware armor made of paper as intended.1 mil armor run out with in 1 second. And if u touch fire u know how it will end.
Just joking because Dev will do whatever they like. And our opinion have little effect on them. They just notifying us not asking for opinions.only thing we can do is find what new fox’s prayer is.

Its sad...because this game has really great gunplay mechanics and imo really good mission design and "immersion/visuals" from them....but it is all overshadowed by really pathetic underlying mechanics and lack of vision what they want. The constant redesign of everything....the constant knee jerk reactions due to the constant redesigning...just ruins all the rest of the good work.

    I agree with you desrocchi.

    The game is a chore.

The team leads making these decisions are not catering to the 1%. These decisions are designed to slow players down in moving through the difficulty ladders.

Its kind of crazy, and i really don't get it, these items are available to everyone. It is not like they make that big of a difference, after trying to finish the last manhunt mission at Darpa on challenging with 4 clan members, we gave up and tried to do it on normal to get through fast (was late). We had to quit halfway through, as an npc was locked inside a room we couldn't get to.
To me these are the fixes we need, not playing with stats that anyone can acquire.

I'm getting near the end of my Division 2 days, its getting tiresome. I'm hoping this is just an April fools joke.

I play in challenging because I don't want to put up with the heroic difficulty, it does not let me enjoy the game.

Nerfing my gear making Challenging unenjoyable will just push me over the edge.
