Most games don't give a damn about real life stuff, maybe make some cash grab at Halloween and Christmas, but nothing like this. We get this totally free daily content, which might be annoying for some, but it is for one day and is a gesture from the devs. So, don't play today if you don't want to. I also think you should not suggest someone's firing, it is a really ahole thing to say.
