    lights that cannot be shot

I have noticed that people playing the PC version can shoot lightbulbs and stay in the dark. It doesn't seem to work for PS4: they stay on after you shoot them.

A lot of lights can't be shot out and it's really annoying. I don't mind the fact that some lights stay on after shutting down the generator (batteries, or portable generators explains this), but not being able to shoot out every type of light source is a huge oversight.

It was possible to do this in Wildlands, even down to the candles, so it was a huge disappointment it wasn't the same in Breakpoint.

    Hey noxentin,

Thanks for reaching out to us and sending details of the report.

Would it be possible for you to capture this on video and sending it over for us?

I've noticed that as well, but I thought that some lights were just protected, and require the nearby power generator to shut-off the lights completely. Then other times I would think that the idea of Emergency Power could keep some of the lights on after knocking-out the generator. I don't know if that would be intensional, but my Wildlands/Splinter Cell knowledge did indeed find lights that had protective shells on them that kept them from being destroyed, so not every light in the game could be extinguished. And I'm quite ok with that, just so-long as there's a visible difference between a light that can be shot-out or zapped, and lights that have backup power and protective shells. I can experiment on this and link some captured video onto this forum page (if I may) after some testing.

Really? Don't you know already whether the lights can be shot or not in Breakpoint?

The idea behind requesting a video is to we can present it to our dev team, they can review it and let us know what is intended and what is not. This may be an intended design, this may be an opportunity for some constructive feedback or perhaps there is an issue.

We do often report issues / feedback to our team without a video, however a video is the best way to clearly present the topic at hand.

I've noticed that throwing an EMP grenade can knock-out particular lights that can't be shot. Though I haven't tried using the grenades on all fixtures just yet, I appreciate having another use for them. Hope that helps.

Is there any word from Ubisoft if this issue will be addressed in the future?

With all the improvements made to Breakpoint in the last 2 title updates, being able to shoot out every type of light would be icing on the cake.
