Hey there guys!

This support article can provide you with steps on how to relocate the installation path. Please can you follow the steps on this FAQ and let us know if this helps to resolve the issue.
Thanks!
That doesn't work. When you select the path it says "Failed to validate game files. Please try re-installing the game" blablabla.
It's a shame that a company puts the game to sell in a platform without even testing it works.
I did this, I pointed the Uplay game to the Epic Games folder, it is still downloading 67GB after it verified my files.
Edit: I just tried it after doing some deleting of extra folders, and running the autorun executable in the Epic Games folder for Wildlands, and now it recognizes that the game is there (though it actually looks like just the installation files) and fails to do anything to make it work, it just tells me it failed.
Edit2: I am not sure what kind of crap you guys have going with Epic Games, but it looks like Epic Games downloads the installer (64GB of it) and then I have to install it via Uplay, pretty dumb.
I just finished downloading the game from the Epic Games Store and launched Ubisoft Connect.
The Ubisoft launcher seems to only be installing the game, rather than downloading it. The game appears in the "installing" tab and not the "downloading" tab, and the launcher does not use up internet traffic.
I'm glad I don't have to download the game twice, but I think this is still an issue since some people might think that they've encountered a serious problem, and some people might not even have the disk space required to have install files and final game files on their computer at the same time, even if it's just for the duration of the install process.
Another issue is time. While I can stand waiting for the game to download, waiting for the installing process to finish is just another chore which some people might not even have time for. The install process, unlike downloading, depends on your hardware, and although you should have a powerful enough PC to run the game, I could see some people having to wait 1 hour+ just to start playing the game after they already downloaded over 60 GB of data.
In my opinion the epic games launcher should be downloading the full, ready to play game folder, as is the case with other games on the epic games store or other platforms, and then the ubi launcher should be using the same game folder, running at most a simple and quick file scan.
I’m so happy I’m not alone in this problem. It’s obnoxious. I bought an omen 15-en000z laptop for school, and my music. Being able to run anything is a plus. I’m already using majority of storage for my sound libraries, and software. I was able to reserve JUST enough for Breakpoint. But nope. It’s saying I need to install twice.
As much as I love/support Ubisoft, get your stuff together or refund me.
So are there any updates/solutions 'cause I guess I will uninstall the game and ask for a refund I am not gonna download same s*** twice.
