Will There Be Any More Global Events After the April 2020 Outbreak?

    Hi Ubisoft!

I had an absolute blast playing the Onslaught Global Event this past week. As a very late returning player it was great seeing the game so full. Almost every activity had players and I was able to earn tons of classified gear - even completed 4 different classified sets and all of the exotic equipment thank to this event!

However, upon logging into the game yesterday the place was a ghost town.

I saw that there was another Global Event (Outbreak) scheduled for April 20, 2020 and I was wondering if there are any more scheduled beyond that?

It would be fantastic if there were or even better if you increased their frequency, especially with so many folks staying at home these days.

    Global Events FTW!

Thanks for any info that you can provide!

Agree 100%. With so many people at home it would be great to have these much more often. It's not like it matters to much for Division 1. Start the next event next week (or now) and do it every 10 days or so. Let people have fun and level up with these events.

They could turn one on every week for the next few months.

It would cost them nothing but it would buy them some goodwill in the press - and maybe even get people to buy The Division 2.

I mean if, after all, we could expect late game support like this for The Division, why would I not pick up the sequel later?

(Heck I may even buy some Premium credits if there were a reason for me to spend more time in game - I want that cowboy hat.)

Why was my thread moved to The Division 2 Forum?

I am asking about The Division 1. I put the thread in that forum. I meant for it to be there, please move it back.

Also, I agree with OP. Keep Global Events coming. Their year 3 roadmap covered all the GE's through the end of April. They need to put out another road map if/when the next years schedule will be.

I am not sure everyone would like them back to back (though that was my suggestion for the 6 weeks leading up to the TD2 launch), but a week on and a week off for a few months would maybe be a good compromise, or so many days on, so many off.

I agree with all of you, as I thought last weeks "Onslaught" Global Event was fun and added some good flavor to the game. Myself like many of you also recently came back to The Division after what feels like a couple years, think I last played in update 1.6 or 1.7 if I remember correctly. I'd love to see if these events will continue past April 2020's map, it would be great to have some kind of an updated event schedule. As far as having an increase in these events due to the current pandemic situation, I'm all for it, but I'm more directly concerned with their longevity past April.

It's wild coming back to The Division that's now over four years old and hasn't been updated for over year and a half to see its still alive and full of players. I realize a lot of the support folks have probably moved on from The Division, whether it's to The Division 2, or another title. It would still be nice to see them weigh in on this topic. It's a great game that could truly live on forever if they gave it minimal support. I fear that they may abandon it, players may have no choice, but to move on to the next best thing. Hopefully we see something before too long.

I don't know what happened, but I've moved your thread back. Sorry for the inconvenience.
