RIP Target Practice farming for SHD levels.

The XP was nerfed from 330,000 down to 113,000 for a full clear on Heroic with all 5 directives activated.
I have no idea if they reduced the XP for failing (it should be removed entirely imo) as I just clear them as intended.
To be honnest we all knew it was comming, every content creator had created a video on it and the amount of XP you got was insane.
Even prominent streamers such as Widdz had used this method to reach the 1000 SHD level "soft cap".
Oh well no more farming Target Practice to power level SHD, the real question is what shade level did YOU get to before the nerf?

Doesn't matter, it's still the best way to farm the game even with the xp nerf. You get guaranteed high-end drops or exotic depending on the target zone, 3 drops per activity location and i'm almost sure you can get god rolls if doing it on heroic.

It won't stop peoples from doing this at all.

the xp nerf was a bit harsh imo... considering that any other event like rescue, territory control and propaganda broadcasts still give you around 330K XP. what's REALLY pssing me off is that I still can't reset my control points and most of the events on my map are f*****g target controls. thx massive, for nerfing fbefore fixing. again.

Patch notes say the extra drops was a bug and were to be removed in todays update.
It's 1 drop and 113k for fully clearing one, I've only cleared 2 so far and I have no idea what happens if you fail a round.

Wasn't failing it over and over for loot considered a bug since they just fixed that under the "Bug Fixes" for March 31st Maintenance?
I wonder if they will get a rollback and a ban for exploiting since people could use it to gain an unfair advantage.

Maybe they lowered the experience because there is a 2x experience multiplier

how are players even supposed to know if the loot reward for fails was intended or not? using this is clearly not comparable to using an exploit with performing very specific actions on a turret.

Only Target Practice was affected though, it will just be a flat reduced amount of XP for clearing them as they don't have any enemies.
For example, a CP4 on HC with 5 directives is still worth 660k so they are a good farm for SHD levels now, until you have cleared them all and currently can't reset them that is.

That doesn't make any sense. The turret exploiters could say the exact same thing. The fact of the matter is that you would get loot for EACH failed attempt, but then you could keep running the same TP until the end. So you could get 3x the loot for 1 activity. Someone who is doing that SHOULD know it's unintended, since there is no other activity that gives multiple loot/xp for multiple failures. Those of us who reported it as an exploit had been waiting since the RELEASE of WoNY for it to be address and it finally got around to fixing it.
