Talent Unbreakable Not working as intended?

So I am using a chest piece with the Talent Unbreakable. Which reads "When you armor is depleted, repair 95% of your armor." Why doesn't this always seem to work? I have at times had my armor broken, only to be left with one little bar of armor after it breaks. I understand the 60 sec cool down. What I am referencing is after this first break. The very first time it would break. I then use a armor kit, and continue. Is someone able to explain why this is happening, or am I not using this talent as intended?

    Hi PhoenixKing1611,

    Thank you for contacting us

One thing this might be is that in PVP the talent will only return 20% armour, have you been seeing this outside of PVP?

I don't PvP. I avoid going into the DZ, and don't queue for Conflict. In other words this is happening in the open world.

I am having the same issue and it gets me in tough spots, not sure if it's working as intended but sticking your neck out a little longer for all the armor to go away and get the Unbreakable working is annoying. Any further information, Ubi-Baron?

Exactly why I Had this question. Because if it doesn't work, your armor breaks, and you die instantly. This has happened to me more than once quite frankly. And yes, it is very annoying...

I will try this today on my account and report back. Will try perfectly unbreakable and the regular unbreakable just in case

What are the other talents you are using it with? Maybe there is some type of overlap that is causing the bug. Idk just a thought. Just trying to help.

Plus reply back and let me know what brand of chest armor you are using and I will try and match it apart from attributes of course. But I will do what I can

    Hey Scootsu,

Thanks for replying. I have Zero F's, the named Badger Tuff vest that has perfect Unbreakable. And it still doesn't work as it should.

For my backpack, I have Shock n Awe. Hope it helps.

    Okay

Thanks. I will give it a try and let you know. What happens to me. I have that chest piece I think at least I had it at one time and will use the same back pack talent as well and maybe be able to recreate what happened. Right now I am looking for another named enemy in NY trying to get above 17 suit cards for another player.

    Okay.

Sorry it took me a while but tried 2 different Zero F chest pieces with the Shock and awe talent and it repaired for me like it should. So I am not sure what is going on with your pieces. If you can try to record a video of it happening. You can go to the BoO and self damage at the firing range and test it. I did several times trying to get it to fail and also went in open world and shot a few enemies and let them break my armor before killing them and it worked as well. Did it several times to make sure it wasn’t a one off.

How often does your talent not work? Once a mission or every hour or once a day or what exactly? Just trying to recreate the problem as best as possible.
