    I rolled the AMD drivers back to 19.9.3 and after two extended play sessions the issue has not resurfaced.

    I was running the latest drivers previously 20.2.2.

    Could just be luck or the latest version of drivers might not have installed correctly or some other damn thing. All I can suggest is that anyone who is experiencing this memory issue and is running an AMD card to try those older drivers.

    Looking at the people in this thread the common thing among us all is the AMD video card and very possibly the latest or newer drivers.
    Alright... that has to be it.. because I don't have that either on my other pc (i7 7700k & 1080Ti)

    After trying latest 20.4.1getting just the same crapp I reinstalled 19.9.3 didn't work loaded into game soon as I moved my character screen froze I've no clue

    I'd use Display Driver Uninstaller in Safe Mode to remove the drivers and reinstall 19.9.3.

    If you haven't already that is.

    Thank you for keeping us up to date with your experiences. Our dev team are currently investigating the issue on our side so we will see what we are able to find.

    We'll keep an eye on this thread in search of suggested workarounds, causes etc. to help with our investigation.

    In the meantime, playing with the DX API should be a solid workaround.
