stop whining? its called SUGGESTING IMPROVEMENTS TO THE GAME
there is no excuse for massive matchmaking swings where you gain like 20 and lose 70+ for 60% of the game,s thats stupid and shoddy frustrating and really not fun, why can other games have a system where the radius is small so you actually win/lose you are only a few points off where you were if you had a 50/50 win rate, hence wanting to opt out of these constant 300 gap games, waste of my time.

I don’t know about you Scott, but when I beat someone who’s higher ranked than me, I get a big ELO boost. When I lose to someone below me I lose a big chunk. For games around my own range it’s roughly same same. I have no idea how it’s working for you, but seems about right to me.

I agree camel. No doubt deranking exists but I’m not sure I believe it’s as big a problem as others, at least up in the top 1000. I typically run 4 level 4 legendaries and can still swing wildly between 200-1000, though I usually hang out right around 400. My point being, there’s a lot of players running similar leveled decks so if I just go on a little losing streak I can end up shooting all the way back to 7800 or so even though my deck level typically keeps me up closer to 8400. Some would then accuse me of deranking even though I’ve never deranked once in over 30,000 matches. The ranking system, although it will never and probably can never, be perfect, is pretty decent in my opinion.

I'm not talking about who has what, I'm talking about picking my own matchmaking perimeters so I'm getting matches closer to my rank, and beat people higher? yea would love to but given a fair chunk of my games are against people 300 lower, I cant chose my opponent but I'm getting stacked towards matches were I win 10-25 elo or lose 70-80+ and thats MOST of them, takes 1 derank or a bad hand and rank is screwed, all i want is to bring my matchmaking to match within 100 either way or something.

The issue Scott, is that as you move higher on the ladder there will be exponentially more players who are sitting at a lower rank than you than the ones who are higher. Thus your matches overall will be more often against someone who is ranked lower. You lose those matches? Well, then it's time to drop down a bit. The customisation of matchmaking you're asking for is totally unrealistic. It would create a magic sandbox for you where you get exactly what you want but the rest of the ladder will function differently. And if it was given to EVERYONE, then we can basically expect to not find matches anymore.
You're dealing with a system with uneven distribution of players across ranks, particularly at high level. But it's the same for all of us. You need to hold your own or win against people lower than you (and yes, derankers are a thing) while occasionally winning matches against higher ranked players if you want to climb. Nothing unfair about it.

what higher ranks? when 80% of the games are against these very low players
7746 my rank gone down from 7903 because, once again 2 people miles below my rank 7600 and 7500s on 23/24 NK's playing low cost spam with at least 1 level 4 leg on these 8k level decks. this isn't fair I win the next 2 games and i'm only at 7828... thats BS 2 wins has undone ONE LOSS win again 7878
I would rather wait, some of us want to play at our actual rank. sick of this day after day needing 4/5 wins to undo 2 losses BS
and now lose to a 7516 because my SOMM board clear was magically undone so I lose 89 so once again ******** back down to 7789

Scottold, I really can’t understand why 95% of your posts are about the same thing. Dude, you’re in the gold tier, there’s always gonna be someone who spent more time/money than you. You’re talking about losing more Elo from a loss than what you gain from a win, the solution is to spend more money. This is a mobile phone game ffs, it’s pay to win, if you want fairness, buy an xbox or ps game.
I’m only relatively new, Superheroes were already in the game when I started, as a result I foolishly thought them & every other card was balanced. How wrong I was, it’s all about money, that’s how I got screwed & it’s also how you (playing at the top tier) are never gonna find the x1000 Eli match you’re after.

Originally I had hoped their own game was different, turns out it’s actually worse than most, not only is the greed at the highest level but the developers are of the lowest.
You, just like the rest of us need to realise we’ve wasted our time AND money. Accept it for what it is, you losing a couple of points & whinging about it every hour isn’t gonna change ANYTHING.

because I have had enough of the same **** time after time
they claim MULTIPLE TIMES to fix matchmaking, within weeks its back to its same old rubbish, they have loads of bugs, and derankers, yet they never deal with, but yea lets have players lose 400 rank a day with a 60-70% win ratio even though card levels are similar which has a knock on effect on bottle caps
and once again -69 for losing to someone 200 below me... lag spike this time.. sick of it. 2-3 wins wiped out in one go AGAIN.
now going to drop to drop to 7500s because of removal spam fantasy./adv done with this garbage
