Never having to pause the game to select an item from the game menu again.

Constantly having to go in and out of the menu to equipped an item or a weapon attachment totally breaks the game immersion . I would like to stay out of the game menu as much as possible.
I addressed this problem earlier and I came up with what I believe is a good solution.

The solution that I came up with will give players the ability to select from 5 different Wheels that they can insert different items into from the game menu.

Players would be able to go into the game inventory menu and insert items such as weapon attachments, breach torch, binoculars, rocket launcher, EMP grenades, C4, frag grenades, Intel grenade, flashbangs, mines, diversion lure, emotes, and consumables into each inventory wheel.

Players would be able to put inventory items into any wheel they like and never have to pause the game to go back into the game inventory menu to equip items.

Let's say I have a (range finder) attached to my weapon and I want to take that off and attach a (PEQ-15) to my rail, all I would have to do is open up a wheel that I put that attachment in and equipped it without ever having to pause the game to go into the game menu.

A fix for the item inventory, hand signals, and emote wheels.
I use a Xbox controller when playing Ghost Recon breakpoint. There can be up to 5 Wheels that can be implemented and used in the game for inventory, weapon attachments, hand signals, consumables, grenades / EMPS, and emotes.
Right bumper is wheel 1. Right bumper + Y is wheel 2. Right bumper + X is wheel 3. Right bumper + B is Wheels 4. Right bumper + A is wheel 5.

The game already has right bumper + Y as Wheel 2. Why not implement the right bumper + the other buttons as Wheels?

This solution will also work for PS4 controller.

I agree that something needs to be done with items. It just doesn't make any sense atm. You have to select 5 items (4 if you have a class selected) to have in you quick access wheel yet you can go in and change this on the fly.

Now I could possibly get my head around the fact that all this is in your backpack so you can access it all BUT why then make it so difficult to select it all. You have to hit pause, go to your items, replace an item in your quick access with what you want, unpause, then select said item from your wheel?!? Ludicrous.

If this is supposed to symbolise having everything in your backpack then make everything selectable rather than your quick selectable 6. Also needs to have some kind of item management so you can only select a certain amount to carry in your backpack as currently you can have the max if each item in your backpack. You certainly need more than the default 6 items considering you have binoculars, water canteen, breach torch as items. If it's not to symbolise items in your backpack, then why can you change this in the fly??

If binoculars and your water canteen were no items and your rocket launcher was a weapon to have in 1 of your 2 slots, it would help free up some space to justify only having 6 slots (not being able to change stuff on the fly). So too would your class perk considering you cannot replace this even when empty.

All your food buffs I feel should only be crafted and used instantly rather than looting and storing these. Would make looting flowers and everything else come in to it more although I never use these buffs. Perhaps have these buffs as a way to increase a your health by a segment rather than having the magic injection now we have the no or partial regen - only bandages to heal a wound and replenish that specific segment of health (if on partial otherwise no replenish) then crafted food/medicinal treatments to recover health segments.

Sorry went on a bit - anyhow items need to be rethought upon IMO.

the only place where this somewhat makes sense is the pvp mode, for pve they totally need to come up with a more seamless fix to make playing as comfortable as possible rather than slapping the menu in your face everytime you wanna change something.

wildlands had its own key for binoculars... why does it need to be a selectable item here? one can only hope they improve this at some point. breaching a fence should just let us press the key to do so when you have sufficient torches, no need to select it, its tedious and unnecessary.

yeh its annoying when you constantly have to pause to change your item loadout it causes a disrupt in the flow of the game. these ubiPARIS devs are really novice amateurs when it comes to creating good games.
