Crafting anywhere ruins the immersive mode

This is such a stupid oversight on UBIs part that I cant believe it.
With the new update we can craft anywhere, but what's the point in limiting bandage numbers in the immersive experience and having 4-6 syringes as a limitation if you can carry enough plants to start a rain forest any time you want and being able to craft 100 syringes and 50 bandages even during combat in the middle of an enemy base?!

it's like people in Ubi's offices work in two teams that dont communicate - one is playing the game and the other is changing the features.

To solve this I see multiple options:
    1) Limit crafting to Bivouacs only (as a toggle option in the immersive mode).
    2) place a limit on the number of plants you can carry - say 5 of each kind, to create the sort of limitations like in the consumable inventory.
    3) provide an option where even in SP the Map and Inventory menus dont pause the game. At list there will be some risk in changing stuff in menus during combat.

I dont know about you all, but im constantly enough materials to build a nuke and a farm. kinda ruins the experience.

Wait how do you craft during combat?, I didn't think you could, I thought it could only be done at a Bivouac.

I don't mind crafting on the go, but I think it should be disabled during combat to make it more realistic.

And not automatically looting every consumable you run past would help as then you would have to do sciously collect the materials you need.

After the update, we can now craft items outside the bivouac, anytime anywhere and i think it's not a immersive breaker because in reality if you are specOps, you can craft or improvised whatever you have in your backpack

but in reality you cant' carry an entire rain forest and enough materials to open up a weapons factory in your backpack. in reality the amount of resources you can carry is extremely limited, or saved in your bivouac. because such limitations are NOT in the game, it makes sense that other limitations would be inforced on the player.
If there was a way to gather materials as you roam and those were saved to the bivouac but in free roam you could only take with you a handful of stuff, THAT would be realistic. as it stands - its the same problem with carrying all of your weapons - it gives the player to carry way more than needed for the game to feel tense.

I actually like it, it gives me flexibility to do things like hole up in a shack and deal with wounds versus having to hunt for a bivouac if You are into "crafting" your own story, it adds details.

I was wrong about my statement but still not immersive breaker for me coz we still have limited amount of items to carry like:
    -syringe 6/6 max
    -frag grenade 4/4 max
Yeah your right about the whole rainforest resources but this is just a ubisoft game, if we really want an tactical realistic immersive experience, well this one is definitely not for us,

Crafting things like bandages or rations while out and about makes sense to me. Crafting complex explosives, drones, ect has always seemed silly to me and all the more so that I can do it now out on the move.

How about you just don’t craft unless you’re somewhere you feel it’s appropriate? Or don’t craft at all. Why do you need the game to force it on you?

These kinds of requests really annoy me, because you’re basically advocating limiting freedom from others to enforce something you can enforce on your own.

The reason I’m particularly pissed, is that this update limits weapon changes to Bivoacs. Probably because of poorly thought out requests like this one of yours. It doesn’t make sense to carry a rainforest or an Armory anywhere on your person, or even have one of each stashed at every campsite on the island. It’s all preposterous. But let us rationalize it in our own way. In my case, it’s all stored in my truck. All my weapons, gear, explosives, crafting materials etc. But thanks to dumb requests like this, that very sensible solution is now not possible and likely to get worse if you have your way.

People need to stop being selfish... asking for constraints that support their play style be added to the game when you’re perfectly able to control it yourself if you want.

This could be said about any feature they implemented - Why wouldnt we simply NOT switch to the secondary weapon? why wouldnt we just only self impose using a bandage twice? why wouldnt we restrict ourselves not to shop in Bivouacs?
Everything could have been disregarded and assigned to player self restriction.

But the same way UBI gave an option to toggle off shop in erewan, we could use a "no crafting on the fly".
The same way people are asking that we dont carry 300 rounds of each weapon class everywhere, I suggest not to be able to carry 200 plants.

So I think there should be a "Resources" tab in the immersive experience with a few options - Regular (as is right now), Limited ammo (only carry up to 5 magazines for the weapon you're carrying), Limited resoueces (only about 5 materials of each kind), All limited (5 magazines and 5 materials of each kind).
