I don't know how to quote you Psyringe, but I like the thought put into your responses. I get your points too, it just doesn't bother me because it's just a game. If by using the glitch I was literally robbing someone, I wouldn't have done it. I was DLing music for about a year before I realized the impact it made on musicians. As a musician it made sense. I'm not saying I have to be a developer to understand, but I just don't see how it's literally impeding one's ability to make a living.
Also, my friends did know about it going in. I found out about the glitch by joining a random. He was hitting really hard & I told him I'm gonna copy his build. My friend was suspicious because he had more kills than her. She looked it up and told me he was using a glitch. So we tried it and had a good laugh.
I enjoyed my playtime with the glitch far more than without it, No crap loot, no Purple drops, and I was on an even playing field with enemies who can one shot you with a pistol from 150 meters.
I can do Heroic solo, but its not fun, and games should be fun, not risk giving me a Cardiac event in frustration because the enemy is cheap or overpowered.
I glitched too & couldn't give a **** if it was moral or not - never had so much fun since hitting level cap. At the end of the day the game is toilet now & the devs have no idea how to resolve the issues or take the game forward.
The world is on fire people & your worries about what people do in the pvp element of a game... You need to get a grip
It is clear which side the forum favors. I must close this thread to avoid attracting more toxicity, though.
However, with that being said, despite the severity and gamebreaking magnitude of the damage glitch, if players have found enjoyment in something illegitimate, something must change on the legitimate side of things to compensate, either NPCs must continue to be tuned downwards, or players must be buffed.
