Eliminate 5 positive hostiles followed by 5 negative hostiles - Not working correct | Forums

Worked for me. Easiest way to do it - Grand Washington Hotel.
1)Start it - kill all positive hyenas after initial cinematic explosion
2)Run back to mission start
3)Restart the mission
4)Repeat stage 1-3 until you have 5 positive kills.
5)Repeat stage 1-3 with killing negatives until you are done.

This is exactly what I did, except I did it on federal emergency bunker. Took me two attempts because I'm an idiot and lost count!

I was able to accomplish this, though for some reason it took 6 negatives for it to count.

Also, not sure if this is true or not, but I was advised not to melee NPC's to switch their polarity as that reset the challenge.

When it failed the first time I said forget it.. I was just in lowest difficulty and wanted one thing, the exotic cache.. So I moved on and did other activities got the cache (Diamond back) and then deactivated.. I hope we NEVER EVER see this event again.. Not fun... Creative idea that just didn't work.. good try, move on.

I had problems with this too. The way it worked for me was to go back to characterselection and log in again. this way i could be sure that the first positiv kill really was the first.

P.S: I have mixed fellings for this event. I like the mechanics as a varity of gameplay, but the challenges u have to do are just heartless grinding. And it sucks when u are chased by 2+ meeles with different polaritys, as long as they stick together it is very hard, sometimes nearly impossible, to kill an enemy without being shocked and then be killed by his friends.

Kill a negative enemy to reset the counter and go from there. That's how I got it to work for me. The system may be kinda picky and if you killed more than 5 positives it may not count.

As for melee. I helped my friend by switching polarities for him and it worked. Now if you solo the challenge than melee may mess it up I'm not sure. Good Luck.
