Online Features for the PC version of Rayman Legends have been down since October of 2019. SUPPOSEDLY, it's not a permanent shutdown of the servers for the PC, but Ubisoft support staff have been unable to confirm if the servers will be fixed or not, or if anyone can and/or is willing to fix it. It's a very strange situation. But given it's getting close to 6 months of no server access for any PC version of Rayman Legends, I'm honestly still shocked to still see the online features and challenges still being advertised as main selling points of the game on PC storefronts. It's really sad to see, and I'm sorry to see you've fallen victim to this.
I really tried to push for some sort of action from Ubisoft about a month ago about this exact thing here on these forums. The servers were down for months, and there's literally no timeframe or status update from anyone at Ubisoft on whether or not the servers will be fixed. The fact that the selling points are still up on online PC storefronts indicates that the servers are still a selling point, but they have been down for many months. And the only way to know the servers are intentionally shut down (for the time being, supposedly) is to find a very obscure Support Article that you can find here, and no where else other than these forums or other outside sources. I'm very disappointed that there is still no action from Ubisoft that goes one way or another, and instead is in this awkward middle ground.
They either need to
FIX THE PC SERVERS
or
REMOVE ONLINE FEATURES AS SELLING POINTS FOR ALL PC STOREFRONTS FOR THIS GAME, THEY HAVE BEEN DOWN FOR SIX MONTHS
But neither was done, and this is something I pointed out over a month ago at this point and this is still the case it looks like...
