This game's matchmaking is an atrocity. If I group with anybody it turns into a rep 10 and rep 2 vs a completely imbalanced matchup that kills desire to play the game, since clearly nobody plays For Honor on PC. And nobody will try to play it because the game does this to anybody who tries to play.

There are no new players because the new players don't want their stool kicked in by people who have been playing PC since launch and decided their investment isn't worth putting into console. If console players are so bad, then if the matchmaking actually works, the game will sort them appropriately so the game isn't deserted. No amount of garbage events or orders will give me interest in playing the game when the result is always the same. Also, the netcode is an absolute joke. We know it hits when it shouldn't, and some people block when they shouldn't.

TL;DR matchmaking is dog because the game is dead on PC, barrier of entry too high as a result, fix this trash.

Matchmaking still needs to improve and should be a top priority but there's been no communication on this. If matchmaking remains inconsistent then so will the overall experience so I wish there was more urgency shown on this matter.

It really sucks honestly, I really like the idea of this game but the PvP isnt fun anymore all the matches I play now are imbalanced one team is always at a clear advanatge (I know rep doesn't mean the player is extremly good but It means they have a lot more experience with the game and know a bit more than a newer player.) Im rep 8 and some games im the highest on my team while we fight rep 180's and 98% time they will destroy us very quicky . I don't care about winning but I would like a chance too lol, once I get the last Mp trophy I won't be playing PvP unless they ever decide to do anything to matchmaking.
