It's too bad that only a certain percentage took advantage of the change to orochi and nuxia's lights
it might be a good idea to put it in tips or put it on the startup screen for all to see so everyone gets
the picture when it does come to live game that is.

For the first 3 weeks every time you get to the menu it'll say remember you can dodge chain lights it'll
bring the stubborn players to their senses and start thinking the next time they get into the
    match.

    Light spam is true

I don't even get to see executions that often.
Consoles need different treatment since the start and we never got it, timings have to be bit different consider all the input lag from the TV's and Bluetooth controller then thing about button bindings and how often u have to lift finger from the stick, we all now how precious time is! PC and console gameplay is so different, and yes ubisoft is balancing the game based on few pc pros, not even mentioning the frame rate. I quit the game years ago i came back now and the light spam in on steroids, i just broke my monitor after i i broke my controller the other day, thanks ubi 😊

Lights are easier to deal with than ever...I was complaining about standardized lights being introduced because they have a 'one response to everyone' issue - deflects are so damn easy now you dodge on read and either deflect or slip past and hit them.

This was the argument I made over standardising lights - high skill they are easier to deal with as its one size fits all responses, lower tiers who were struggling with 600 ms just see 500 ms spam all day, everyday.

I miss 600 ms lights from certain directions on some characters, forces reaction parry rather than reflex muscle memory to any light attack. HL gets alot of lights through for this very reason (and the generous crushing counter window - if they want faster lights they just go offensive stance)

TG changes sound good as the old method to light spam was to spam one back and get in first, currently this results in a both hit each other at the moment, the changes would mean block a light and throw your own, a good solution for at least the lower tier issues as - 'block then light' is an easy enough move to catch onto

I play with controller on both on console and PC. You can absolutely react to lights to block even with a poor setup

I dont care about light spam if im not locked off to parry it but my recovery time to be able to do something and defend vs most light spaming heros is an issue. some light spam heros take you completely out and you cant react till they pause their light spam.

Maybe the light spam receiving player should gain temporarily hyperarmor for light attacks.. isnt something like this scheduled with the fight update in august?

Giving the guy who is to dense to counter light attacks hyper armour, great idea... not.

With the changes at August you will have frame advantage not to mention you can just dodge out of the chain anyways.
