Yes
No
Only like it for the DMG boost.
For me NO. the first day was a joke having to attempt to do a hard mode run with it, took well over 1.5 hours due to rushing mobs and not having enough time to change to kill without being electrocuted and then grenaded.
the second day was a lot more manageable.
Today is another joke. ok, challenging mode run will take 2 hours. but for me trying to kill 50 negatives mobs by hitting their weak points. LIKE WTF. I shoot their weak points, they don't die, if bleed kills them you don't get the kill. its a joke. been running around for 2 hours now and got 3/50.
this isn't enjoyable for me and to be honest, I might just turn it off and keep it off. it's **** and overcomplicated. it could be made "fun" by having things like headshots or weak points made for both positive and negative not one or the other. same goes for everything else instead of killing either one or the other. 200 kills on positive and 200 on negative is fine but doing a skilled kill on either, that is tedious.
I'm definitely having a blast.I like having to think a bit more between shooting, and I enjoy the double damage.
I found it kind of obvious, but ... the entire idea of the event is to play in a way that you _don't_ get electrocuted. It's very easy to prevent. You just match the color of your arm to the color of your target. If it doesn't match, you reload your weapon. If your weapon is full, you shoot in the air once and then reload. If you don't want to make noise, you switch to your secondary weapon, then your sidearm, then back to your main weapon, and then you have the polarity you want. If you don't have enough time to do that, adapt your playstyle or switch to a lower difficulty.Originally Posted by Linkymeister Go to original post
It's quite easy to go through an entire mission without getting electrocuted once. If you have trouble with that, the best advice I can give is to slow down. This is not an event for twitch gaming, it adds another tactical layer to combat that needs to be considered before shooting. If you play on higher difficulties, not getting electrocuted is definitely more important than keeping the damage buff going. Although, as the devs said - there is no shame in setting the difficulty to "normal" for most of this event. The kills count just the same for the challenges, and it makes it very easy to get the rewards.
