4v4 turns 4v3, 4v2 and finally 4v1, and suddenly when you are getting ganked and trying to defend yourself, a catapult hits you in the head, or an arrow rain, or a fire flask. It's frustrating that you can maybe defend yourself against multiple opponents, but revenge is not a constant and well implemented mechanic, so sometimes it works well, sometimes it doesn't so you can't count on it, only to die in a rain of features.
Or when you defend yourself against a Peacekeeper, Tiandi or Zhanhu only to find that they have Last Laugh equiped and because there are more enemies you can't execute them.
1v4 is a total disadvantage, and features only make that kind of situation frustrating.
Trap, healing and features are not a problem, but features are AOE should not be allowed against a breaking team.
Using a Tier 4 against one single opponent is arguably a waste, and it implies that they didn't need to use that Feat to kill your teammates in a prior fight. The last 4v4/4v3/4v2 is much more important in determining who wins the game than what's happening in the final 4v1.
Even with Revenge, winning a 1v4 is going to require outstanding effort and probably a few mistakes from your opponents.
The endings are not cathartic during certain scenerios like LMS or when a 4th feat is used during what could have been an epic showdown. This goes for both sides. Anyone would choose an easy win over an epic win due to the probability of loosing. Uncertainty creates epic wins. Risk vs reward should be rebalanced at the end game to create intensity making the victory sweeter and the loss exceptable.
Here is a idea I had.
Last Man Standing ideas
"Boss fight"
Options for winning team:
1. The last man duel option for winning team: If he wins the duel he is free to leave. If he loses the duel he is executed by the enemy duelist (or new dignified team based execution is performed)
2. If while fighting off a gank and he takes down an enemy, a teammate can spawn.
3. If a fourth feat is used on him and he survives all his teammates respawn and he gains access to all his feats.
At no point should the teams feel certainty of an easy win or loss until the last player is dead or defeated. The ending to each match should be an ending to a good story.
