I personally had no problems with the idea of what CLAW is, as I simply see it as some amalgamation of VR technology, and current drone piloting used in the US military right now, and I can see it happening within 10-20 years, but man the actual fight was f*cking stupid, and the fact it was tacked on the end to an otherwise fantastic Stealth mission is borderline insulting.

Also the voice actors for the female AI teammates in Wildlands were awful.
I did like the old actress better. But that is how it goes with likes and opinions. I also don't think that the voice itself is bad, but how the lines are delivered. And I really miss the swearing to be honest. I would prefer the characters to say things like f---- instead of all the moaning and grunting.

For me it did feel like being the errand boy/girl again, being sent from one mission giver to the next. Mother: Go get my daughter -> Daugher: Go do my errands, or I wont come along..... And so on. Again, with better voice acting and scenes it could have worked better in my opinion.

In Wildlands both voices for Nomad were just fine in my book. Plus, for me, the female AI team voices weren't all that great, but they weren't awful.

The bottom line IMO is that if the same voice actors weren't available, Ubisoft should not have brought over Nomad as the character in Breakpoint. As the saying goes ithe character doesn't sound right given the supposed sequence of how BP was presented to the community.

I don't know for me Andrea Deck was just so inconsistent with delivery, where one second she's quiet and deadpan with something like ****balls, and then she's screaming at the top of her lungs the next second within the same line (No offense to her of course), and the female AI teammates just felt like NPCs in Breakpoint, Boring, just speaking their lines but with no soul or passion in their lines. I liked Joseph May for how consistent in the dialogue he was when going for the kind of campiness that Nomad has, and I think the Female Nomad voice actor for BP actually is more consistent and can do an emotion like grief pretty well which is why I like her. I'm hoping the AI team can be much better voiced though with this iteration, but we'll have to wait and see.

Regardless of opinions considering GRW, when the free weekend starts I'll start with a female, as the male from my beta experience was a real turnoff (as just a start ...)

So thanks for mentioning your opinion on the subject.

I have to admit that I didn't really notice the changes in the voice you mention, but that could also be because the rest of the game wasn't that quiet and there was actually stuff happening in Wildlands. It was just fun to play and didn't feel like a chore. In Breakpoint after a while I even turned on the subtitles and escaped through the dialogue after reading the lines.

I normally doesn't use sub-titles in any game I play, so the question is: can you get around the horrible dialogue delivery by using them?

Well you can just press ESC (on PC) and skip each line they say. That is why I enabled the subtitles. For me it was quicker to read them and I didn't have to endure the spoken dialogue.

For me I liked some of the NPCs in game (of course not counting the fantastic contributions of Michael Ironside and Jon Bernthal) like Skell, Sigrid Bloom, Haruhi, the Ex-Bodark guy Karel, Josiah Hill, and a couple others, but for me it's like for every 1 NPC that's likeable and well written, you'll have 5-10 or so absolutely annoying unbearable characters or robotic souless machines. but with the new DLC I'll say the I haven't seen any offensively bad characters (Like Daigoroh) outside of maybe the Punk Rocker chick, most are just souless robots, so it's slightly improved for me I guess?
