Again, the voice acting and dialogues, as well as the cutscenes are just horrible in my opinion. We have the nerdy guy, high tech brat that rebels against her mother, a corrupt military guy, the betrayer and the defector... everything that is cookie-cutter was in there. Okay, I have to say that I wasn't expecting something being reinvented, but that was just meh and could have been implemented way better.... Then the missions... Again, okay there is not much that can be said about them. Mostly the samey stuff like Greenstone had.

But the final mission.... what the hell didn't you understand in regards to the drones? I mean you also mentioned it in your own teaser. 'No one wants to fight the damn things' and yet you once more create an endboss that is just more drones that are controlled by Professor X... This whole thing is getting more and more Scify nonsense again. The kidnapped operators strapped to those mind sucking VR chairs..... Sorry, but that is just ridiculous and it did start rather promising with the silent approach.

Also those damn drones are still like on speed spraying bullets from their limitless supply. Playing it on the new immersive version resulted in me getting an injury almost with every hit, stumbling and dying. Not sure, if that is a bug, or really intended. The whole fight was just BS. I am happy for everyone who enjoys this, but for me that is just what I said BS. Also so far I didn't really see how you would spend 7+ hours of playtime in it. Well maybe if you add walking, driving and getting stuck somewhere as well as retries due to dying through other bugs, or the now what seems to be an even more sticky cover version to it. (I couldn't walk through a door again, because the character just stuck to the sides every time I tried)

Another thing I have to say is that I think you really screwed over the people that bought only the main game. Adding finding Midas into a payed DLC is just a shady practice of getting others to buy the stuff as well. So far that is my take on the story. Nothing really has improved here in my opinion.

Oh and one thing. Fisher and Coste were already on the island for months and didn't even try to contact Nomad after he started to wreak havoc all over the island?????? A little hard to believe this part of the story, even IF they wanted to stay hidden.
    Oh man... <smh>

I enjoyed it mostly, the only cringe was the rebel super hacker girl, who looks like shes came from the cringiest game ever, Watchdogs 2. And of course she can hack into Nomad's military grade com system, because, why not. Yet Skell, the mastermind behind Aurora cant shut down the islands drone defense system with the scientists on his side who designed it, and of course, with Nomad helping them.
The rest of the DLC was ok for me, Fisher with Ironside is always good (ok, not in that car chase mission, that was lame). The last 'bossfight' with Professor X was kinda WTF, I turned down everything to easy just ot get rid of it as fast as I can.
The Echelon class is really good, don't know the technician yet, so I'd say for the price I paid for this DLC (Season Pass on sale -20% from Uplay points) it worth it. The way for the future of this game looks much more positive now. Just get rid of the cringe SJW writers, and give us a true, gritty, dark Ghost Recon story.

I mean the rebel girl didn't feel like an "SJW" whatever that nonsense means, she feels like a "those darn millenials with their phones" joke that would be seen on old people's Facebook, that over ran its joke way far.

Yeah definitely, the writer was showing their age because I've legitimately never seen a kid that acts like that outside of movies.

Like I said, I didn't really expect them to reinvent everything regarding the story and I would be okay with the cookie-cutter as well, if it was done in a good way. The cutscenes are still the same style and the voice acting seems like they phoned it in. The characters are like wax figures and honestly, there is a heavily armed soldier approaching this girl after taking down the drone and she behaves like that. There wasn't even a little bit of uncertainty in her voice about the situation. It is just unbelievable. And here I would have loved to be able to make a choice and just grab her and bring her back. I don't feel much like being the protagonist/hero in the story, more like everybody's errand boy/girl. Also Nomad doesn't really sound like he/she did in Wildlands. I think there was much more 'character' in the character. And stop removing my gear in cutscenes already!

Yeah, I will say, when I went back to Wildlands, I couldn't stand Andrea Deck's Nomad voice but I loved Joseph May's Nomad, but here in Breakpoint I hate new Male Nomad's voice since it sounds like generic action hero 9000, and I like Female Nomad voice a good bit.

Also the voice actors for the female AI teammates in Wildlands were awful.

I was kinda angry about that... She was about to killed by huge drones, I save her, the she acts like a b*tch, not even shaken or something. Then I'll gladly help her destroy relays, so she can do her DRONE RACING STUFF; who cares about Midas at this point or an NSA super spy worrying about some deep state conspiracy. Nah, I'll help you little girl so you can do drone racing again on an island where a military takeover happened and people are dying...

I've had it with Breakpoint, so unrealistic game, mind you it may be hard but that last sam mission is a bridge too far for me.
