How can this be acceptable on Heroic world tier
Chameleon
6% Assault rife damage
5% Damage to health
4% Crit chance
Pestilence
8% LMG Damage
7% Damage to targets out of cover
4% Damage to Armour
Both Items below 50% of max role.
This does not make me and want to farm exotics. Roles like this don't make them seem like exotic items.
I'm sure I'm not the only one to think this.

Solo'ing pre-patch with the pestilence, i found it extremely useful because i used to start shooting the red enemies, and as each one died the stacks would transfer to the next and so on - i found by the time i was ready to start shooting at the elites, most of them had either died already from tick dmg or were down to half hp and easier to kill.

Theres no upgrade system for them either - it kinda LOOKS like the bars will go up over time or can be upgraded, but this is not the case. It feels weird looking at those stats and thinking "ill keep that so i can upgrade it later" and not being able too.
Presumably they are different now because its possible to become op with the talents on them and the right rolls, and the right backup talents on the gear. Guess we need to find those talents and figure out what playstyle huh.
Wouldnt be something daft like the sweet dreams is OP if you pair it with a tank setup and melee everything? How to kill elites tho ...
Right, Exotics have been dismally bad since the WoNY update to the point that there really is no point in using them.
They have low drop rates, but that doesn't guarantee you with a good roll so you literally keep farming them with hopes of getting something good.
If they're not going to give us good rolls, they might as well jack up the drop rate so we can farm them a little more efficiently.
Or better if they allowed us to recalibrate Exotics, so we can at least fix any crappy rolled exotic we get.
The exotics just don't feel that special anymore...
(I wish they had retained their second talent too.)
If Massive doesn't want us to use them, why not just erase them entirely from the game?
At least that would make things easier for us.
