Ok so I’m the same as you all, I didn’t get it.
The only time I didn’t play is when this free weekend thing happened.
I can say regarding the Coronavirus is I’m currently in lockdown with my family as with most of the world.
To pass the time I started to play Odyssey again after a month of not playing, just to take my mind off our situation.
I can fully understand why many of us are returning to play it.
Like many I been putting in many hours over the months and I have invested a lot of money.
I was chuffed to see the new outfits but pretty gutted to learn I missed it.
Now I’m not going to rant and rave and call Ubi everything or whine about the virus when it’s claiming lives, the people at Ubi are probably affected by this as we all are, I get that.
But at same time I’m a bit disappointed in Ubi on their timing and lack of notifications of this free weekend event.
They could make an exception under the current circumstances but as I said above they could be affected by the pandemic as well and I’d feel bad if I did.
If they release the skin again cool, if not then hay ho.
Life goes on, at least we still have a life to go on with for now.
If someone at Ubi can do something to help cheer us all up by making it available for those long time buying players then good on em, if not then I understand.
They have their own lives on borrowed time to live as the rest of us while this virus ravages us all.

Ubisoft's decision is terrible. I didn't want to miss any part of the Odyssey, so I bought all three offline package editions and even the DL version. However, I couldn't collect everything because Corona wasn't playing the game during that period. If I can't get Ezio's Roman set in later, I have no reason or intention to purchase Ubisoft products anymore.

Decisions like this should NEVER be made. People like me who are OCD about unlocking everything, all achievements, club rewards, club challenges, are pretty serious on the matter. The feeling of 100% accomplishing everything matters. It creates momentum & incentive to move on to another game knowing that I don't have to worry about missing something from a previous game...
Even if this was a timed event item, at least unlock it after a certain time frame so threads & complaints like these aren't made in the first place.. Or you know, DON'T MAKE DECISIONS LIKE THIS AT ALL..... ITS SIMPLE.

I became aware of this promotion from an article on my Google news feed and had to download the entire game again to get it ..... Odd thing is I wore it only once because it just looks kinda ridiculous in 432 BC Greece ,,,,,, It's doesn't even fit in well in Atlantis IMO ...... There was a couple of extra piece in Origins that I obtained that I felt the same way about, they just don't fit in

I bought the Ultimate edition in December and was playing until March when the virus struck and have been side tracked since protecting my mum with underlying conditions up until now. I boot the game up just now having not played anything for about 2 months and greeted with a 10gb update, oh well, I go to see what's in it and see the Ezio costume, looks fantastic and then read I can't bloody get it. Absolutely awful decision.
Please reconsider. Why not just leave it open for those still playing the game?

Well i dont see why ubisoft didnt make it claimeable for the ones who alredy had the full game. I bought the game long time ago and im not thinking "ey this weekend is free i have to play it" if you know what i mean...Originally Posted by Black_Widow9 Go to original postHello,
