I also dropped troves of cash getting all in game content and extras along with ultimate and Medusa editions. Due to corona and several other problems as a result, it wasn’t plausible to get on during this time for a lot of folks. I don’t see how this is fair at all. What’s worse is: given the situation in general, Ubi should have already come to this conclusion on their own... disappointing to say the least.

This basically is the same thing that happened to me. I couldn't play the game during free weekend because I moved from my old house kind of in a hurry because of COVID-19 (My ex-room mate wroks in a hospital and I'm part of the risk group) so I had no internet service for two weeks. The only response I got from support was "Sorry you missed it, nothing we can do, go check on our forums for update."
Like I got all AC's game the Ultimate/Gold version, and I feel cheated.
I bought the game pre ordered for release but didn’t get a chance to play it until the lockdown. And it’s locked with no sign any free weekend. It does seem stupid to lock a “free” reward to people who have purchased the full game, especially when there is deluxe and gold versions, and they all are locked.
Developers, please unlock this reward.
I can't believe all this whining. This is nearly a 2 year old game now and this is very common for a company to run a special promo and end it.
When it's done, it's done, what you spend on their game is pointless because you got what you paid for.
They obviously don't want to promise anything to players who missed it but they'll probably run it again in the future.
