If you use a Xbox One.
Go to Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon game and Push the game options button on your Xbox controller. Go to (manage games & add-ons). Go to save data a click on your saved profile. Select (Delete everywhere). Restart game.

Your game should work as normal.

You absolutely will not lose any of your saved game progress.

If you have this problem on your PC instead of using your game controller simply use your mouse to select your character and it will work.

If you have a PS4.
Delete save data and restart game . You're game will work.
