The core problem I see with the massive glitch using of past few days by broad parts of the community, is the effect it has on future game play versus non-glichting players.
That's why I see (and demand) a clear action and communication from Ubi/massive here:
Minimum a account rollback to before League starting last week - ultimately a ban of the accounts using the Glitch more than once.
Why?
The problem is not unrealistic timed run tables and not acquired exotics (esp. The trashy legendary assault).
The main problem is the massive spread of god rolled items, acquired by doing legendary runs in far less time and far less needed skill as intended,in the player base now.
The curve of item quality among players went up so rapidly within just a few days, which cannot be intented. a) in that short time and b) by players of average playtime and skill beating content that was targeted at 1-3% of the top player base.
The unfair advantage those people used over the past days is just ridiculous and a slap in the face of honest/skilled/dedicated players, who invest a lot of time and brain into their gear and play style.
I know of ppl who did up to 10 - 15 legendary runs in just a few hlurs, where top skilled players (see YouTube) easily need 1+ hour each run.
Please Ubisoft take a honest look at your code of conduct and take strict action for the sake of even out the unfair advantages - Roll back those accounts!
Thanks - hope it gets heard.Originally Posted by Craig1405 Go to original post
Had to join in here due to my strong disappointment over strictness till now by massive. Technical methods are there to identify this.
Yep, they should be reset at the minimum. I say reset the PVE players who have done it and ban anyone who took it into the DZ. Its one thing to cheat the game, its another to cheat other players. or just ban them all but we know a ban is not going to happen or it would of already happened.
Could be a solution too, yes.Originally Posted by moesuvious Go to original post
But really I don't see the long term damage PvP users did by exploiting in PvP.
It's fun at that moment (maybe), but they don't acquire a useful advantage for the future - in PvE they do by hoarding God rolled items.
Well some of the zombies on YouTube are even suggesting that the devs secretly put it in like the old Contra cheat code. So there’s that bit of insanity now too. Then of course there’s the ones who feel entitled to use it because “they made the game too hard.”
Maybe they should shut it all down for a couple of days. Then roll back accounts to SHD level 0, wipe the recal libraries, and then give them a nice set of purple gear to start with. They can keep their White Tusk uniform though.
Now yes, I’m quite aware that none of that is going to happen because reasons. However it would be nice if Massive did something to at least acknowledge the people who didn’t decide to cheat because the big bad video game was too hard for them.
As frustrating as it is though, I’ll keep plugging away. I love the game and the story, plus I’m stuck at home.
well, what if one of those players who got murdered in the DZ had his first exotic, or that god rolled item they needed to complete their build that they probably wont get another one for a month or two ganked at an extraction? Those same god rolled items they are hoarding in PVE, they work in the DZ too so now even after the exploit is fixed, those players still have a big advantage because they got great rolls by steamrolling legendaries. It just all runs downhill by continuing to let them do it without recourse.Originally Posted by User612263 Go to original post
i do think devs put things into games to allow themselves to cheat at it, there is simply no way some of the things people figure out could figure it out without some guidance from someone in the know. I dont think that is what is happening here though as i would think if its a secret backdoor, they would know how to close the door which they obviously have no clue. Pure speculation of course.Originally Posted by SHDLBC Go to original post
Top players need 1 hour + Omg where? in early state without gear and tactics maybe. Now not!!!!!! Drop is bad in every aspect this game. Hardest content= 0 drop...Its NOT RNG its complete lazy loot drops design...Many people drops more better items on normal/hard than HC/legendary and Many people who complete Legendary saying about trash loot...I said again This is problem in game LOOT for hardest content is worst i ever see.
Hot your point. OK, yes. But this requires two steps of rng somehow. First there is need to drop a God roll for player A, who's killed by B.... And: he needs to get it out successfully.Originally Posted by moesuvious Go to original post
PvE is in my opinion more easy. It's just a matter of how many time u put into running various mission in a very short time.
