    Polarity Switch is DOPE

I'm freaking loving this and I don't even know why. It's satisfying for whatever reason. I don't even care if I get shocked every once in awhile because I'm usually doing easy / low stakes content. I'm shocked so many folks are complaining about it! But then again, they're the ones getting shocked I suppose. I'm not one to coddle Ubisoft and the decisions being made on this flailing game, so don't dare mistake me for some false positivity sowing sycophant.

Put your 108% red builds and your baker's dozen away for a lil bit. This event is far less stressful than trying to speedrun Vs bullet sponges on missions with rando's. It just takes a tiny bit of focus. I suggest a balanced red/blue/yellow build. But any build can work. While I'm still using Baker's Dozen, using it puts you at a tiny disadvantage. If your magazine is full, you can't waste a bullet into the air and expect to be able to reload. The Baker's Dozen's talent prevents you from losing that bullet. Instead, you have to fire that bullet at an enemy. For whatever strange reason, I like that challenge as it enforces good tactics rather than encouraging us to waste precious ammo. One of the most important things, you're going to have to turn your difficulty down a level unless you're one of the more skilled and focused among us. I don't think it's a great idea to go about your usual heroics and raids and harder content while also doing this event.

What I would have liked differently -
The grind is a quite high. Most of the objectives are so similar that were going to grind for all of them at once and there is a reasonable chance we won't complete any of them.
Come on, really? Signature weapons and side arms have a polarity too? These are weapons of desperation and flourish. Signature weapons should work with both polarities. Side arms should work with neither - having no damage buff, but incurring no penalty.

I have to give it to Ubisoft for this one. It’s acutually quite a fun Global Event. Really like the extra layer of challenge of being attentive to the polarities.

Doing some Challenging events without too much of a problem, and am very very keen in running some Heroics or CP4 at the least to see how fun it is

Polarity Shift is the Global Event that just started today (you can access it via the Season menu). Basically your Agent and all enemies are either positive or negative polarity - attacking alike polarities deals double damage, attack opposite dishes out a status effect on your Agent.

You can manually swap your own polarity by reloading or swapping weapons, and you can swap enemy polarities by hitting them with a melee attack.

Skills and grenades are not impacted by either the double-damage or status-blowback from your polarity - but pistols, primaries, sidearms, and Spec weapons are.

The idea of making us get 100 negative polarity headshots is kind of a head scratcher though. That invariably turned this event into a sniping event. Sure, you can get headshots without sniping, but that really prolongs the grind

I also enjoy the Event. It's more interesting than the common gun run.

Even if I play solo, I think it's perfect for a duo because of the polarities. It's also easy to get in.

I'm enjoying it, especially since it's not really difficulty dependent. One slight issue though, not sure if it's a bug or just poorly communicated but I'll occasionally switch polarity while in the middle of firing at an enemy causing me to be instantly shocked.

I'm on PC... I don't experience this. If I reload, the polarity changes, same with changing a weapon. It's like "on my command".

Reloading and swapping weapons work as you'd expect, but there will be rare occasions where my weapons will swap polarity without doing either one of those actions.

I’m having some fun with it on normal. Goes a ton faster and I got a minor roll, right after I switched to normal, from the named boss in front of the White House.
