I fear it is far too late for that...

I'd suggest grabbing a bucket and start bailing it appears this boat is taking on water.

    Next time...

half the damn playerbase and almost everyone in the DZ is glitching their dps.

Loot locked behind difficulty tiers that you can only complete by cheating.

Loot in all other difficulties is ****.

Legit players getting kicked from match making groups for not cheating.

    The list is endless.

I wasn't here for the fiasco's in td1, but ive read about it. I sure as **** wont be here for td3.

    Wont be a next time.

I know they contracted out testing to companies like GTN, so they did do some testing at least. I just don't think those companies can do it as well as a thousand players who all have different builds and playstyles can. I know GTN had players following testing scripts, like go to X mission do X, but I remember one of the guys I know who did some of the testing say they didn't have them talk to the safe house people, so that's why that game breaking bug wasn't caught. It just sounded like their testing methodology was too rigid or not broad enough to catch much. Granted we didn't get to see what I'm sure was a huge list of bugs that were caught and fixed before it dropped.

Massive is kinda of in a hard place with having a PTS for updates like this though, if they did have a PTS there would be a ****storm of people complaining that people got to see the story before them. We already saw some of that in past PTS rollouts. Sort of a pick your poison for them.

there is no PTS because they tried one before on other games they had less players testing...no one wants to test but handful so its not worth investing cash into a PTS
