Hi folks,
I was a dedicated player who took a break and came back for the expansion. Love the new gear 2.0 but I have a few questions regarding skills :
The striker drone and assault turret often stay idle, not firing and not doing anything, even after having been prompted to strike something.
The turret seems to miss from time to time now
The seeker mines also miss a lot more than they used to.
The booster hive does not seem to reduce cooldowns....what exactly does it do? You do not hit harder and you don't seem resistant to damage...
The reviver hive seems to be bugged from time to time, but it was like that when I was playing.
Shields seem pretty good now, the bulwark is a monster.
So, are these bugs or features, and if so, what skills are reliable now ?
My experiences are with the sniper turret, cluster mines and mortar turret: often times they will hit ( mines will go to target and blow up) and nothing happens or registers at all. Sometimes the mortar turret will target an area and not fire til i key it several times. Also, I will throw out the cluster mines at targets and the red circles appear, and then they just return to me and I'm unable to target anything with them until I remove them and they go on CD and start over.
I wish the AI had to deal with wonky targeting, no responses, and nohit registration with their grenades and skills like we have to.
To be perfectly honest I don't think anyone has the answer to these questions anymore. The game is full of bugs and issues right now. Dysfunctional skills, talent and gear sets not working, enemies stuck in walls plus many others I cant even be bothered to mention. Add the current problem of cheats and glitchers and in my own personal opinion the game has now reached a crisis point.Originally Posted by Hansem1979 Go to original post
I've played and purchased all DLC and fully supported the franchise from day 1 when the original Division was released and I've never seen the franchise as bad as it is now. I would never tell anyone to not play the game but to be perfectly frank I think you have returned at the worst time possible.
I still have faith in the developers and honestly hope they can salvage this game because I still believe it has truly great potential and I want to enjoy it once again but at the moment it all seems to be a complete mess.
Apart from the bug situation others have stated, cluster seekers have been double nerfed: doubled the cooldown and slowed their targeting/movement.
The latters means that the seekers will take a lot more time to reach their destination, so by the time they get there most of the targets will have moved away and the seekers will explode in an empty spot.
A third (indirect) nerf is that now, in the incidental case a seeker reaches them, NPCs simply roll out of the damage area.
