If you don't have "WONY" Dlc, we can't be level 40 I understand this And why do I get level 40 users to hit me just one shot when I go into "conflict" matches? And when I enter the game, I have nothing to do, I have level 30 character 511 score. The game was very nice at first, but it is broken now I am not even playing the game right now. The game is now pay and win.
All of these level up grind games are like this. DLCs keeps the content going, unfortunately if you can’t pay for the new content then you can’t progress, Destiny 2, Borderlands, DC Universe Online, and other games have this same concept. If a game is going to be around for years then it needs money to make new content for players, and creating new DLC’s helps that.
The game scales damage in PvP areas - meaning level 40s are scaled-down to 30.
The people one-shotting you are likely using exploits.
Developers could have easily fixed this by having a "Maximum Damage Possible hard limit" for each gun in PvP areas.
Which would have balanced PvP nicely.
For example even if they glitched the gun to 100 million damage.
Hard limit would limit maximum damage done to 100,000.
Right now it uses Damage Scaling. So it simply reduces the 100 million damage by "x" percent.
Which allows exploiters still to get away with it.
You are supposed to get upscaled when you're playing together with level 40 characters. I can't tell how well it works in practice, but at least in theory you shouldn't meet players that are much more powerful than you just because of their level.
Are you sure that it was their level that gave them the power to one-shot you? There is currently an exploit in the game that allows for infinite weapon damage, in PvE as well as PvP. If you can, check the other player's stats. Some have millions of _base_ damage on their main weapon, which can only be attained by cheating. If you meet such a player, take a scrrenshot and report them to Ubisoft.
Yeah, I posted about the same thing a couple hours ago. Title's "WoNY's Just A Money Grab"...
