    Duplicate apparel items

I have 36 apparel items left to get from the blue apparel cache keys but all I get are duplicates. I’d say about 19 duplicates per 20 keys. So annoying.

    Preach to the choir!

I was up to 12k Textiles and finally broke down and just bought what I could with it...

So many duplicates it's pitiful lately....

Yep I’ve been buying stuff with textiles also. But some of the things like the Covert Hunter gear you have to pay real money to get. And the drop chance is really low or nil for the jacket and boots.

I know, I know, RNG is RNG but... Do any of you guys seem to get the same duplicates over and over? Every item is supposed to have the same % to drop but certain items I get over and over some times back to back. I usually save up 10 cache before I open them and sometimes I will get the same exact item 3 times out of 10 cache. It really feels like certain items are weighted differently.

I suspect it's heavily weighted towards certain items for some reason... I've gotten quite a few duplicates but nothing even remotely close to all the Aviator Scarfs where it's near 15 of those to 1 other duplicates, playing with a couple of friends that noticed this too.

Funny you mention Aviator scarf, as that is pretty much what I get every time I see the yellow light shining out of the cache when I open one.

Are they? Has that ever been said by any official source?

Without any official statements on the matter, I'd simply assume that the random drops are designed to drive monetization. Which would entail lots of items that drop frequently, as well as "chase items" that drop very rarely - most likely with at least one very rare drop per set, so that people buy premium credits to eventually purchase it with the "complete your set" discount. That would seem to be the most logical way to design it, at least.

If you want to collect more data: I own 62 of the 100 items currently in the Standard Cache. I usually get an estimated 1-2 non-duplicate items out of 10 keys. Shirts seem to be particularly rare for me. I have four sets that only lack one item (Aviator, DCPD, EMS, Grunge), and except for the last one, it's always the shirt/jacket. I have three sets for which I'm missing two items, and in two of these cases, the shirt is among them. Despite opening lots of caches, I have only been able to complete one set (Scavenger) without using textiles.

Looking at this stuff I just realized there are apparel loadouts. Good to know

Game data says it. Go to apparel, go to your apparel cache, you will see at the bottom of your screen you can hit the G key for contents. Once you hit that each item you hover over shows your chance to obtain. Every item shows 7.1% for me. I am currently 86/100

*Quick edit* I have not used my textiles yet, so everything came from the cache keys. Saving textiles in case they offer some new gear we can buy with them.
