    Some exotic items feel weak...

Honestly, some exotics are really bad compared to named items. I would always choose any assault rifle over the Bighorn or any Kneepads over the Ninja Bike...
Having said that, I feel like making a list of some of the exotics that need some buffs:

1 - The Bighorn: It hurts to say this but... The Bighorn is legit one of the worst assault rifles in the game. It's dad to realize that the only weapon locked behind Legendary missions is just not worth the grind, Legendary is already tedious to complete and It takes A LOT of time, only to get a 5% drop chance of this weapon. When we got It and tested it, we thought It was bugged or something but no... The weapon is just bad... And Im gonna tell you why.

Very small magazine, too much recoil and very low dmg. Considering it's a Legendary drop and doesnt have crit chance/dmg mods, It should have bigger numbers on the base dmg, at least a 50 mag and waaaaaaaaay less recoil. The weapon's secondary mode is also pretty weak, It needs way more RPM and stability, something like an SVDs RPM and Stability when full modded. And finally, It needs a complete new talent, the EB has 2 talents and it's way easier to get that this weapon so I dont see why the Bighorn shouldnt have 2 as well. It needs a talent that not only buffs the user, but also buffs the entire team in order to make Legendary missions a little easier.

2 - Sweet Dreams: The talent is completely useless in PvP scenarios but it's really helpfull if you are playing support in PvE, I just think It needs a different funcionality when in PvP, It needs to do something to other players, maybe apply a random status effect whenever you shoot a player, obviosly a cooldown is needed. It would be awesome for a Controller build.

3 - Chameleon: Pretty useless weapon without any of the buffs, It needs at least 15% more base dmg, It also needs waaaay more optimal range, it's an AR for Christ sake...

Those are my 3 priority weapons, specially the Bighorn.
Keep in mind not everything is bad, Lady Death, exotic chest, mask, holster, gloves and backpack are a **** ton of fun to use and really feel like exotics, Kneepads just not my playstyle but they are kind of good too. Also all the other weapons are great ecotics, Bullet King, Pestilence, Lady Death, Merciless (it's ******g awesome now). I just want those 3 guns to be like the other exotic weapons, I want to feel they are actual exotics and not just some red weapons...

big horn definitely needs a buff, gun that is that hard to get should be somewhat useful, cuz right now pretty much any AR is better then it, and pretty much any rifle is better then its ''special skill''
both does medium dmg at best.

Right now the only purpose this gun serves , is only to hang on the wall, as a collective item, for beating endgame content

Never really used exotics but just got a Nemesis drop. Level 40, Core Stats showing total damage as 1.8M (846.2k base) yet my Classic M44 Carbine 825.9k (376.1k base) hits harder than the Nemesis.

Average damage from 1 shot with the Nemesis is 258k

Average damage from 1 shot with the Classic M44 is 925k.

    What's wrong with exotics?

And why do NPC's total ignore damage from Signature Weapons? Had a yellow NPC clean in the centre of my scope (centre body shot) squeeze the trigger and the NPC stood there laughing at me with no damage. Quickly pulled the trigger again and same thing - no damage. Switched weapon to AR and obliterated him. Something not right with there...

Sounds like you're not charging the Nemesis shots. It does 0-100% damage depending on if you full charge the shot or not.

Exotics are no longer special and are in some cases just about on a par with named items The Chameleon is nothing more than a SMG with a AR skin on it, underpowered and basically useless. I used to enjoy getting an exotic weapon and then making a build around it but not any more. To me they all seem completely lack lustre and underpowered with mostly useless talents.

Blame players. Exotics are garbage because soon as a useful one put in the game players cry about how OP it is and needs nerfed. ARs are mostly garbage because 3 or 4 talents on rifle and lmg are way better. And because of hit detection of course.

the only players complaining about gear/weapons/skills/talents etc being too OP are PVP players, but most of the playerbase is PVE, so why are the devs keep listening to them over and over again, they break the game with their PVP crying crap, look at TD1 most of its lifetime before TD2 it was crap and TD2 has kinda the same sort of updates, making most PVE gameplay crap just because PVP players are crying about some OP items.

I said before TU8 and WoNY came out we needed a Gear 3.0 to fix everything they break with WoNY and TU8(Gear 2.0), guess i was right all along

Just use named stuff and call it a day honestly. Exotics are a slippery slope (original eagle bearer). They are niche weapons mostly.

nemesis actually does a lot of damage. Try pressing left click for 4 seconds and the release it. You will deal a lot of damage. My nemesis does 15 million which is no near your 258K

I have a nemesis but I actually kind of prefer white death. Having to charge nemesis can spell death too easily.
