    Glitch or get lost

Tried playing legendary mode a few times tonight. First time there were 3 people that all had an outfit I had never seen before (I’m guessing it’s what you get from doing legendaries). Anyway they were crushing stuff until all of a sudden they were all dead and I was the last alive. I got rushed and killed so they kicked me. They were the ones glitching. Shouldn’t they be the ones to get it done instead of blaming and kicking me?

Second try there was one glitcher and 3 honest players. We ended up wiping and he quit right away followed by everybody else.

Third try I get matchmade with one other person. He sent me a message asking if I know how to glitch. I said no and was immediately kicked.

    The last guy was reported.

Moral of the story... you have to cheat to get the rewards from legendary missions.

Wow. That's outrageous. You got kicked because you refused to cheat.

Outrageous for sure! If these cheaters are kicking people for not cheating they deserve disciplinary action.

They want you to carry your weight, and the fact that you are a waste of space to the group because you refuse to play at your fullest.
Hahahaha 3 guys that were cheating ALL died before me! And I wasn’t carrying my weight? That’s ridiculous! People who cheat can’t even cheat right. I’m sure if there was a 4th cheater instead of me he would have been dead too. Then what? They just keep cheating and failing? Hahahahaha
    smh

That's why I run and do it solo when exploiting things like this. Kinda lame to expect others to do the same.

I run solo 100% of the time and I don't/never will and never have glitched or cheated in a game.

Does that make me a loser or whatever (if yes) then so be it, id rather have nothing than cheat or glitch.

I am pretty sure one guy is credited with that 'cheating' nonsense quoted above and most would not consider him a great. It has been repeated by a few others and in context usually is about getting an edge over an opponent and not breaking any actual rules.

With that said some people will always try to justify the means.

Abusing a non-intended mechanic in a game is, to most people, cheating since it is playing outside the parameters the designers intended.

They can 'play at their fullest' (which by the way makes no grammatical sense) all they want until it affects my game play. Don't bother with them.

Well said. In my small Destiny clan there were 2 groups of raiders. When there was a cheat for the original Destiny 2 raid one group was all over it and still couldn’t finish. The group I was with refused to cheat and got it done anyway. That’s how it should be.

When there's 0 consequences, is it any wonder that people cheat?

Good for them for saying, but they cheated regardless. The issue is perspective. Some of us, we know right from wrong, so we know better and don't cheat. Meanwhile, some figure if no one is stopping me, it's okay to cheat. It's still cheating, it's just a matter of does one get away with it or will they be punished. Feel free to actually look up the definition,

Just so you know, those sports legends you're proud of. Usually got fined when they got caught. Mr. Brady, after getting his chops busted for having his balls deflated, was suspended for several games. Players that put silicone on their jerseys as Mr. Montana referred to. During one game, Denver Broncos vs KC Chiefs. Broncos got fined between $5 to $10 k per player for that little cheat. Many of times when players stretched the rules or cheated. When caught they got punished. It's just a matter of did the punishment fit the crime. Ubi claims they will ban cheaters. It's a matter of will they or will they use their creative liberties, so they don't have to admit they lied. In the end they gotta keep numbers up. If too many players crossed that line, they may not want to lose too many.
