CP are not resetting in the game they are working on it. Personally I prefer NY its not a large map but beautifully designed. I think the high rise buildings the waterfront and the effects from the hurricane reflect a post (humanity destroyed) world better than NY.

There is a Home league with the 3rd Manhunt, which means, that we will return to NY.

Also, Control points ate currently bugged there
Although, devs are working on the ability to reset them on demand, so it will be much more helpful. Some control points are cool.
As for far end game - heroics, legendaries. Raid 2 will probably drop with Last Manhunt target.

The end game is them trying to fix their game. I expect this sometime around Division 3 release date.

Well, at the end they got D1 right and then they abandoned it and moved on to D2. Can see the same happening again, after all it's massive we're talking about, they just can't live with a game that satisfies people, they either have to "fix" it or just leave it behind.

They could have made a new york switch so you can change the whole map into a dz with 4 different targetted loot areas. Still have the ability to keep it as a pve area when you switch, need to be in a safe house to switch, only haven is a checkpoint, maybe a cp on the edge of each corner. That would appease those after a bigger dz. Ive left the game now to give them time to fix things but still gonna follow it, otherwise how will i know what they're fixing?!

They can make it work like Survival.
If Ubi really turns Lower Manhattan into a huge DZ, it's going to be flooded with players.
I will even pay for that.

There is no black tusk invasion in NY simple because otherwise non DLC owners wouldnt be able to complete them (especially for people chasing the nemesis)

I suspect one of the upcoming Season manhunts will bring us back to New York City since the Manhunts are actually the continuation of the Main Storyline for Year 2.

Jupitor Manhunt was hinted on at the Keneer NYC audio logs but the other two Manhunts remain unknown what role they will play in the Year 2 Main Storyline.

If my memory is correct the last Rogue in the Jupiter hunt (Mercury) Ryan Change, when brief says he's from our own back yard , I think he's one of the missing First wave agents from the First Division in NYC, where you find all the abandoned watches Agent intel.

He is part of Season 1 Manhunt storyline which is all in DC World Map due to the mission Keneer gave Jupitor and her Rogue Cell

One of the upcoming Season Manhunts is going to be set in NYC as the Main Storyline seem to take us back to NYC later after Jupitor Manhunt.
