Here are my thoughts on the game. The single player mode is great love it
.
Multiplayer however, I find it very difficult to find who is playing one type of game. When your bran new it takes while to find where people go and for what game.
My suggestion would be to make it so there is a marker indacating there are people playing that type of game.
Also, why is it the Navi can't use their mounts? is that to allow the humans to live longer? I must say I think that each side has their own avantages.. humans are small.. hide better.. where NAvi dont..
Navi are quiet where humans you can hear miles away... humans being able to use their mechines gives them an edge.. and they have ALOT of fire power with their guns when they are together.. and the navi have to get close to the target to do any damage..
The navi also can't kill a human with one shot.. which I can understand why it was nerfed.. but now it seems the humans gernade launder and flame Thrower are super hard to live through.
Wish the Navi had something to neutralize the fires that humans can start..
Would also be interesting if the "call of the viper wolf" could be used.

Just want to repeat this in this sticky thread.
"Why can't I walk in Pandora. Why must I ALWAYS run?"
I want to enjoy the "world" slowly you see.

needed more missions more people to talk to.. i say this as once you complete it there is nothing really there to make you play it more and i completed it in a few days...
also it would be good if you could speak to other soilders not proper convos but like with the some vehicals you need to people one to work the gun and you cant get them to go on..

great game, a pity that not many people are online for multiplayer for the 360. i think the MP needs a matchmaking add on, as the same map gets boring if you dont want to change because of loosing a full game. Other things could be a mellee for the amp suits and bows to make it more true to the film. some form of MP campaign mode would be fun, letting players loads their avatars into each others campaigns.
Also, please add in some form of attack for dirhorses and/or ikrans, as just using them for transport is a bit dull. adding them into multiplayer would be great as well.
I also think that being able to lead a group of bots in MP and campaign would make the game better and add more replayability for offline as well as making online better, a kind of gta san andeas turfwar thing for campaign maybe?

To add my, hopefully constructive, criticisms to this thread:
Na'Vi
-Campaign bows should be customizable, as it is rather annoying to have a bow I like the look of automatically replaced by a bow that doesn't suit my tastes.
-Na'Vi run speed in multiplayer should be the same as in campaign to account for the much larger stature of the Na'Vi characters, just because their opponents are 5' or 6' tall doesn't mean they have to match the gait of the humans' shorter stature.
-Bows are completely accurate and balanced in game, so far as I can tell, as a Na'Vi arrow is as tall as their RDA targets, both in game and in movie, and being struck by a missile that size, with the draw strength of the Na'Vi, is most certainly a fatal blow, provided the humans don't dodge out of the way. It is also mentioned that Na'Vi arrow-heads are coated in a fast acting, deadly neuro-toxin, adding to the lethality of their arrows.
-Na'Vi characters and mounts should visibly 'bond' with their Queue's as per the movie while in campaign, and multiplayer.
-Possibilities for Na'Vi weapons could include parts salvaged from wrecked RDA vehicles and equipment (as per the 'knife fight' final sequence of Avatar the Movie).
-Archery while mounted would certainly be a worthwhile venture, and would get more use out of the mounts than a simple method of traveling faster from point A to point B, using the keys that are already mapped for movement and mouse aiming for the aiming of the weapons.
RDA
-AMP Suit should have infinite ammunition, or the ability to replenish ammunition, like the primary weapons of other RDA Vehicles (Scorpion, Dragon, Sampson, ATV - machine guns, Swan - Rocket Turret), as well as the ability to use the bayonet affixed to the main rifle, or a stowed fighting knife, as a melee attack of some manner. In addition, the animations for the AMP suit seem much less fluid and natural as they appear in the movie. Damage done to the AMP suit also seems to be quite disproportionate given the heavily armoured nature of the suit, making them much more useless and cumbersome than they should be.
-Scorpion Gunships, Sampson and Dragon Gunships weapons are highly inaccurate. Weapon aim should be relegated to mouse aiming to make use of the default mapped turn keys.
-The ability to command or requisition the aid of Npc's, there are more than a few opportunities to use a Swan, yet find it no more useful than the Buggy vehicle, as the turret can't be commanded from the drivers seat.
-Final unlock of the Nailgun weapon should include both a Dent and Hammer version, as per previous unlocks.
-Switching factions during the second opportunity to do so as an RDA character essentially activates the Na'Vi campaign ending, but with a human character and human final flying mount, including dialogue from the Na'Vi campaign ending, which certainly can't apply given the circumstances of the RDA campaign.
Multiplayer
-Multiplayer lobby, with the ability to chat with both RDA and Na'Vi characters to coordinate large scale games.
-The ability to modify your characters appearance and weapons outside of a game lobby, including the option to toggle between your Na'Vi character and RDA character.
General
-The complete removal of the 'Protection of Eywa' and 'Zeta Field' abilities, as these are practically game breaking abilities wherever they are used, be it by the player, the campaign npcs or in multiplayer. I say this because the mechanic of the skill isn't mentioned anywhere in the game or movie back-story, nor is such a technology made use of in the movie. In addition to the complete lack of an explanation as to where such a technology would come from, it slows down the game by a great deal, both in campaign mode, or in multiplayer: For the Na'Vi, it is more than irritating to have every target you fire your ranged weapons at suddenly not die when normally they're one hit kills because they use the Zeta field ability the instant they're struck by the arrow/crossbow bolt. The same can be said of the Na'Vi in the human campaign, which already take a fair amount of ammunition to fell, now becoming impossible to damage, and in numbers, swarming your character to death.
Just my two cents, given what I've seen and played on the silver screen and in game.
PS: DLC's should be available to all Ubisoft registered customers, regardless of where they live, as excluding all but a very select region of customers seems to be a very rude slight to everyone else in the world who's purchased the game.

Major error:
RDA Capnaign: Hanging Gardens: I failed to report to Winslow when I entered the Hanging Gardens' "Lost Cathedral" on Midori's orders. Harper was not there, and I was unable to reenter the Cathedral afterward. There are no objectives on the map. I am unable to complete the level due to what appears to be a serious game continuity flaw.
Please respond on this thread or another.
General feedback:
AMP suits are worthless in melee combat, and most RDA combat is melee.
In future games I would like to have the ability to shoot from horseback.
The aiming is sometimes difficult; a precision aiming system would be appreciated in future titles.
What happened to the Bond?
Other than that, I loved this game right up until the single player campaign was halted by the above-mentioned error.

Okay. Here's some feedback.
The movie Avatar had mysticism, moral conflict, beautiful scenery, well developed chararacters, a love story and a sense of wonder. It took its time showing us the world and allowing us to explore its marvels. It gave us time to see the developing relationships as the character's skills developed. It gave us initiations. It gave us suspense. And then it then finished all the action off with a kick *** wind up.
This game, on the other hand is just a mindless shoot-em-up.
An hour after landing, I'm standing next to some Scientist I don't give a damn about, being asked to defend some people I've never met (except for some enigmatic shaman) and betray people who used me (a mere Signals Specialist) to wipe out a Na'vi village full of innocents.
I hate the RDA but not humans in general. I have no feeling for the Na'vi. And the Scientist makes my skin crawl.
Those are the choices the game gives me. That's not morally ambiguous. That's a moral vaccuum.
So I chose the Na'vi, hoping against all odds to get something of the experience of the movie. But there's no slow induction into Na'vi culture and hunting skills. Suddenly I'm dressed as Xena Warrior Princess and I'm an expert with a bow, some wierd staff weapon and some wickedly curved bone blades - and I'm being sent to destroy towers and pick daisies.
In short, this game could do with a bit of pacing. Some tutorials from the actual characters on how to use items would be good too.
Something that resembles a storyline would be appreciated. A romantic subplot would be fantastic.
And last but not least, something that actually makes one care why we're doing all this killing would be good too. I keep wanting to push the Na'vi off cliffs whenever I meet them. They're a very unlikable race in this game.

I absolutely love this games. One of the most fun experiences I've had on my PS3. I love that
Just a few suggestions for the online multiplayer:
1. An online ranking system for the multiplayer. It's fun to feel like I'm accomplishing something with each victory/kill I get.
2. Ability to "aim with a scope" or zoom in with the long range rifles.
3. Ability to play all game modes on all maps rather than being locked into only death match on one board and capture the flag on another.
4. It's along shot, but adding bots to play through the multiplayer maps offline or with a friend online would be fun.
5. I know I'm dreaming here...but add in split-screen death match or co-op.
