Far Cry 5 Xbox ONE X Bookworm 4c7c267c

Hello, I have experienced Bookworm 4c7c267c error in Far Cry 5 on Xbox One X. I’ve checked my router settings, everything is OK, ports forwarded, NAT open, updated soft on router. I tried mine and my friend’s account. None worked. I took my Xbox to my friend and connected to his internet. Didn’t work either. His console with his internet works perfect on default settings on my account and his. Tomorrow we will bring his console to me and try to run with my net connection. Did anyone else experienced Bookworm 4c7c267c in Far Cry 5 on Xbox One X and made it work good ? Does anyone play it flawlessly ?

    Hey there.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing connection issues at the moment. To investigate this further for you can I request that you open a support case here if you haven't already done so and attach to that case a screenshot/image of your router's port forwarding settings and your network settings on your Xbox One please? Thanks.

    Problem solved - case closed

Problem solved ! To everybody experiencing this problem on XBox One X:

It is not allways, that you have to play with your router settings. A friend of mine has a router with completely default settings, no ports forwarded, Upnp not connected, NAT restricted and no problems at all.
I have set everything correctly, router firmware updated, Upnp ok, NAT fully opened, ports forwarded and couldn’t get connected to server.

SOLUTION: try to reset your console to factory settings, but without deleting games and data. You have such option in setup menu. After this is done, system will ask you to get your previous setup from the cloud, and you have to skip this. You need completely new factory settings. The game starts working just like that.

I was subscribed to Microsoft Beta testers programme and I assume this might have some influence on console setup.

    Please close this tread.

    Doubt

When performing the reset process, do the xbox accounts exit ?

    Hey pedrox166kji,

    Thanks for reaching out.

Resetting your Xbox will not reset the account completely, but you would need to log back into your account.
