    Armor straps in Gear 2.0

Can anyone explain to me how the number of stripes of armor affected the actual strength of the armor?
Before the introduction of Gear 2.0, the power of my armor was about 320K points and was represented graphically as 59 armor strips. Now I have more than twice as much armor power - around 850K, but only 15 stripes.
So despite twice more the number of armor points, I have four times less the number of belts ... and to be honest I feel like I'm four times weaker.

An additional question to the manufacturer, does it mean that I will ever achieve 59 armor strips again, and be able to play a new legendary level?

It was the same while leveling up. Each player level the armor per "bar" would increase. So basically the whole time during the 1-30 process, It kept you around 8-11 bars of armor. At 30, it was a bit over 5000 armor per "bar". Since the gear score was at 30 did'nt increase player level, the value did not change but the gear got higher and higher armor thus you saw the 30-60 bars of armor at 500GS.

When you leveled to 31, the new value took place and it once again brought the amount of armor each "bar" represented up. Right now at 40, each armor bar is about 55,000 or so armor. Since GS is gone at 40, the times of having 30-60 armor bars is gone (and its good as it makes it easier to read them again.
