Spinning dog most certainly DO insta-kill you. I have had it happen at least 3 times and people seem to think, "Oh, just get in cover when they spin"; you do know that the Black Tusk have fire grenades now and spend even more time making cover nonviable, right? When your cover is on fire you can stay and die, or move and die to the spin.
People need to quit defending the absurd things we are subjected to in game as "Complaining about difficulty".
No it doesn’t. People need to stop propagating misinformation do to their own failings. What Im seeing is that many randoms and more than likely people whining on here are playing squishier than they should in the great chase of DPS. I don’t know how manny times I see people melting beside me in the same fire and I’m like damn. But they hit hard. LolOriginally Posted by Sinfultee Go to original post

Challenging bounty.....Finally get to the bosses(plural) and WHAM! out comes the "ROGUE" squad, including the 360warhound.....It ran right between our 3 man squad, spun it's turrent once and we all were dead, flat, no unbreakable triggers, no revive hive triggers.....Each of us....2.2m+ damage....
So you need to quit talking out your 4th point of contact!
Been reported by many, and UBI is fixing it....
So you're the one spreading lies. UBI wouldn't touch it if it was "FINE AS IS"...
GTFOYS!
Whatever, believe what you want.. I’m over it. BTW “Touching” something doesn’t mean something is inherently wrong. See past interactions. They touched TD2 shortly after beta, and turned TD2 into a joke at the highest levels. Thus the move back to sanity, where headshots, weak points and overall battlefield orientation matters again in a cover base shooter.Originally Posted by CptCombatGamer Go to original post

They do enough damage to instantly kill you if caught, so they are as good as an instakill mechanic due to the insane damage. The dog will also run after you in order to target you. Skills caught in the path are basically obliterated.Originally Posted by Merlinsdragon1 Go to original post
First time I encountered Atlas (the named boss with the ability) I died while in cover. An NPC launched a grenade that knocked me out of cover and into the path of Atlas's spinning turret. It was instant death. No chance to survive it happened instantly.Originally Posted by Merlinsdragon1 Go to original post
The fact is, this is mechanic designed for groups, the raid in particular. Where a team mate can revive you if something random kills you. It has no place in a low difficulty solo instance, unless the difficulty is set appropriately high.
Exotics are rare pieces that can take a long time to farm for. if you need it to survive (or progress) something is very wrong with the balance and gear progression.Originally Posted by Spidey456 Go to original post
No one needs it. It’s a nice to have and will help with randoms who are squishy chasing DPS. I won’t wear it all the time but I will put it on if I notice my teammates are squishy. I’ve never thought about healing before this patch. Never.Originally Posted by Edgemoor Go to original post
