After Devs Choice of Balance is Anyone Scared about Polarity Event?
Developers thought
Warhound with Insta kill Abilities was a great idea
or Black Tusk Healing Station that has infinite charges, millions in health, and can heal through walls was a great idea.
They didn't even consider what would happen to Tank and Skill Builds by increasing enemy HP by 500%
So that begs the question, what madness do they have in store for polarity event?
For those that are not aware of the event.
Every unit has a Polarity ( including you ) -
They are either Positive or Negative - to tell what polarity you are you have a lightning bolt effect on your arm that goes blue or yellow.
IF you attack enemies of the same color you do bonus damage, if you attack enemies of the opposite color you lose a stack.
If you shoot the wrong color the second time you get shock debuff.
The polarity on your arm keeps changing.
Now here is the kicker. Oh and I am 100% sure the Developers did not consider.
If a Flanker is of the opposite polarity - and if you shoot him - you get shocked. Meaning the Flanker will instakill you.
The ONLY way to change the Flankers Polarity is to punch him.
Unless the Flanker punches you first - and since Massive thought, it was an AMAZINGLY great idea to have NPC have 1,000,000 damage on melee strike.
And 1,000,000 damage on Bullets.
I really wonder how they test these ideas.
Something tells me it involves a Dart board and an intern that only can say, "Great Idea boss,, fantastic idea, oh it has no problems at all!"
