Ninjabike Messenger Kneepads - why are you forcing PVE players into the DZ ...again??

so your promise to get every loot from every activity is another lie?

i'm a pve-player and i will never set foot into the darkzone because of obvious reasons!

so please tell me why are you locking some of the gear behind a PvP-wall?

    Uh! oh!

Oh! and to counter that why are they locking gear behind a P v E wall

And why are they locking gear behind a Raid Wall

That's forcing P v Pers to do P v E and forcing non Raiders to Raid.

    See how that works.

    That should not happen either.

You should put aesthetic rewards behind a forced activity, not gear.

Cause they realized that the hardcore PvP players was unable to Harcore PvP without PvE players. Cause in TD series, that's just how PvP works. Now to be fair, they needed to do something to bring life to the DZ. The big difference is this time, they have stated that we should expect PvP. In the end, they think more players would appreciate the content like the DZ and the Raids, if they lock content behind these things and then tell us to play however we want.

IIRC the chest and backpack raid gear are still only available from the raid, but I don't see the problem. The idea of "every gear from every activity" has to have some restrictions otherwise we'd all end up just farming the shortest mission over and over again rather than having to actually work for it.

I know PvP is all the rage, but some players don't like it.

Personally, that's the only reason I play. I usually play offline for pve. If a game has PvP, you can be sure I'm on it.

But, as any objective PvP players knows, making changes to a game for the sake of PvP when there is a large part that only pve is hugely segregating and horrible for player retention and balance. If you have both pve and pvp you MUST give them access to both loot pools.

It would be really simple to just make it so a single player in the DZ can't be attacked by a group, or make it so a single player can only have their loot stolen once every twenty minutes or something.

Seems like it would be so easy to fix. The severs are always almost full whenever I go in, it's not like I couldn't just pick another target.

Who says it has to be easier? They can control the drop rate. They could set it up actually based on Risk vs Reward theory they have always enjoyed bragging about. Last I heard, the EB was still locked in the Raid.

Problem is how do you the mentality of individual players. Those who prefer to farm PvE players, don't want to PvP. They want easy kills. Yet it doesn't mean all players are that way.

The kneepads drop from PVE activities in the DZ, not killing another player, and extractions never guarantee PVP.
