Ever since I played the TG I don't even want to play the live game to me
the TG felt like a more fun balanced version especially when they patched
the 100 ms guardbreak vulnerability on live game makes me want to
have the TG version even more.
Aramusha, glad, cent (hope he gets his rework soon) will finally
be punished for throwing their heavies out.
if they were to do it they would really need to tinker with the values and we would have a for honor 2.0, fresh as everOriginally Posted by TheUberDome Go to original post
i really enjoyed and hated the TG but looking into it now, i really liked the changes.
While I would love to see the TG changes be implemented as soon as possible, I understand that These would have to be tweaked first. After aal, they weren't perfect changes, especially those regarding Damage values.
So they'll probabely tweak those a bit, fix the Bugs they find and test a few other builds before updateing the live Version. It'll take time, and I'm as eagerly awaiting that patch as much as everyone else, but we'll have to be Patient. Let them do the neccessary adjustements, polish takes time.
Very constructive. I'm glad you took the time to add to the conversation.Originally Posted by allenhollow Go to original post
Like I've already expressed, I wholeheartedly agree.
While it took some time to get used to the new system in TG, returning to the Live version really feels like going back to an unfinished beta. There's no consistency between heroes, half of the moveset is just useless, you get punished by the game for using your combos, death in three hits, broken matchmaking that places new players against the absolute elite, ZA-input that needs to be perfect and still results in flicker, so on and so forth.
Imagine creating an alternative fighting system for your game, having the comp and stream scene as well as some of the regular players love it and having the people who likes being able to abuse a broken system come out in droves to out themselves and drown the feedback in negativity.
One can just hope that the dev team does some curating of the feedback. I would hate to see all that progress go to waste.
The damage values in the TG are semi-perfect the devs just need to change health values for certain characters
(mainly lawbringer) I didn't like the 500ms change to his poke (tbh it felt like 600 ms but that could've been a mistake)
take out feats that increase health and give damage reduction else damage value becomes worthless bring out feats
that compliment the character change the perk system for a system that feels more rewarding if theses changes go live
in this case most of us do then we don't honestly need tanks that survive literal nukes aka warlord, lawbringer, etc.
Damage numbers for attacks would still need to be adjusted if TG goes live. While they are much better than live (also thanks to stamina and guard changes) they're not perfect and some moves and characters are clearly more powerful than they should be while others are still on the weak end. What is great is that no hero in the TG build is worthless like so many are in the Live version.
Personally I'd hold off on fibbing with hero health stats, at least until the attack damage and all feats have been adjusted to a workable level. Starting to tweak everything at once would just complicate everything further.
