Why on earth do we have to download a massive 45gb+ patch for The Division 2 even if we only have the base game? Is there some worthwhile content in that or are we really being forced to download an entire new expansion even though we don't own it yet?
This is really annoying to me (and I imagine quite a few people) because I have a slow metered connection and now don't have enough space for the game on my SSD and as far as I can tell its for practically nothing of value to me.
Can't ubisoft do modular downloads? I mean Blizzard even manage to make it so you can play the game having only downloaded a bit of it.
Because you need to have access to the assets.
The New Weapons \ Enemies \ etc.
Otherwise, the 2 clients could never be compatible with one another.
A good example of Terrible Design is Grim Dawn
Because it does not use shared assets the person has to physically UNINSTALL the expansion in order to play with a friend that does not have the expansion.
