Warlord of New York Rip off SCAM

Not only do they charge you $60 for the base game. They charge $100+ for any other version of the game. Then to have multiple versions of the game depending on the region you live. If your not already pissed off and feeling ripped offed and scammed On top of that they charge you an additional $30 for the season pass. On top of that your being charged another $30 for this latest expansion Warlords of New York. Lets do a little rough math! So if you take the base game price add the season pass and latest dlc you get roughly 120 per unit! Expensive game? When you thought you only have to pay a one time Price for a complete game? Add an additional 100 if you purchased a special or unlimited addition, because the price just goes up from there! Its the principal of the matter. To where publisher and developer are taken advantage of there consumers because we are letting them get away with it! This is why in my opinion that the gaming industry as a whole is going down hill in a rapped fashion. Until publisher and developers put the consumer first over making a profit. Like CD Project Red. Unfortunately I don't see this happening anytime soon. So until then like EA and Activison. I will boycott and not support your games. In hopes more people will pull their heads out of there asses. To start seeing **** clearly. Thank you and go **** yourself ubisoft!!!

Your logic is a little flawed. If you bought the $100 version of the base game, that would have included the $30 year one pass.

So I am about $110 in at this point. $80 base game gold version and now another $30. For a game that I got 1000 hours out of.

There is much to criticize about this game, but price is not the biggest one in my book.

To expect to pay one price and not have to buy any DLC or expansions and still see the game in active development is a tad unrealistic.

yeah, im $90 and havnt looked back. If someone wanted to pay that extra money so they could get a division doll or something of the sort then thats on them. I do feel they didnt give the season pass holders their moneys worth so if you want to complain about that extra money then go for it but the base game and expansion is on par for almost every game out there.

oh my the big bad company doing something that basically so many other companies do with new content, those evil bad guys.

Seriously, you must be new to the gaming scene. This is what happens with EVERY game. I mean, using your logic i should be so mad at blizzard for not only having to buy the base game and every single expansion at full price, i also have to pay a monthly subscription on top of that. You either better find a different hobby then playing game cause its not going to change with any future games by companies either.

Anyone that thinks the gaming industry in 2020 is that horrible should really research Microprose Falcon 4.0. That was, and probably still is, the biggest fail in gaming history. They rushed development to get sales in the sweet spot between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It was released in alpha form, and they never could get it patched so it was playable.

Funny thing is, the product fell into community hands and the community has fixed the problem plus expanded the product and you can still buy it today and then apply the community mod and enjoy the heck out of it.

But it basically put Microprose out of business.

    Somewhat of a ripoff

I somewhat agree, They keep charging us and the game has more and more problems. Now I can't even get into a server. It might be the end of The Division

I can't believe they're charging top shelf prices for this hollow game.

Might as well make it free and charge 9.99 a month at this point.
