Hiding in cover .... NPC is hiding in cover also all across the area ..... NPC pulls pistol over cover and shoots ..... Armor gone with 1 shot ..... NPC shoots again .... Dead.
This happens to me too often, they can just blindfire with 100% accuracy from across the area.
Even with grenades, most and especially the Blakc Tusk can throw a grenade with 100% accuracy all across the map and still hit and kill you with 1 grenade while you are in cover, and if the explosion didnt kill you the special effect from the grenade will.
The thing I love about Grenades
Your Grenades do 5% damage to their armor - does not knock them out of cover ( not to be confused with jumping away \ dodging from nade )
You are limited to 6 nades.
While their nades do 100% damage to armor + 50%+ damage to health and knocks you out of cover.
On top of which have an infinite amount

Now iv'e put up vids of me on challenge world difficulty getting machine gunned and surviving, iv'e face tanked a grenade from a g/launcher it took a 3rd of my armour down nothing else.
Iv'e cleared Elite Territories.
But and I say but some other days it's all out of whack, I just did a named and crew got one shotted by the Named (his damage numbers were 988,763 per damage) it shows on screen (that's not right)
Iv'e cleared named and crews on hard without breaking a sweat with a 1 red only build (posted a video), but today it took me 15 mins to clear an Elite Ressuply convoy on just hard nothing higher. to be honest it was a fun fight but a ressuply convoy shouldn't take 15 mins even on hard.
The way I see it the AI is totally bugged out even their movement speed seems a little off/fast/Usain Bolti'm hoping they sort this out, i'll still play because I like the game and some of the challenges.
PS: no i'm not a tryhard/Ubi lover/shill etc etc. (i'm probably the definition of Casual)

I think that the greater engagement range that has been a consequence of TU8 might be one of the reasons people are feeling as though it's tougher. As an example I cleared a CP3 yesterday as part of the man hunt. The CP was just around the corner from the safe house so very short travel time by foot. On the way there I had to deal with three seperate patrols and during the assault 4 Elite Supply convoys and three Elite patrols waded in on top of two waves of additional enemies. Then during the counter attack two more Elite patrols stopped by for a chat. I kept thinking during the brief moments that I had time to think that something was not right about it. I think we're just aggroing other activities sometimes and that translates to harder combat. Still not certain about that CP3 though as it was the most intense and lenghty battle I've had to date. Damn thing almost gave me PTS!
