Emote spamming is a meme and half the fun of emoting in the first place is it's "spam factor".

Stop being so sensitive to it. If someone beats my butt into oblivion and then grabs the dingleberries out of my beaten butt by spamming the snowball fight emote over my cold lifeless corpse, I laugh.
I'm not being sensitive about emotes, there's some really funny ones, but normally you never get to see the emote because people only use the first frames and repeat, that's what I call spamming.
If someone would do the snowball emote to me as you described it I would laugh to, but if I've seen something like that really few times.
And I don't get mad about it, tea bagging for example has existed for a very long time now, and even when I've always considered that behavior as toxic and rude, I don't get mad or offended when I see it.
But in this game it can completely disrupt the match flow.
And why would I accept that someone ruins my fun playing the game just because their fun is not actually playing the game?

I don't want the game to be serious, I like it fun, but I find nothing funny in emote spamming. I never use effects, but I turned off entirely because, with emote spamming, they affected my visibility and ended up more than once because I couldn't see what what's attacking me.
And as I said, it annoying and frustrating to see my team emote spamming instead of trying to play the match, even when we are losing.
It doesn't matter that the game is rated M. I've been playing rated M games since I was 2. Anyway like I said too many little kids and I'll also add manchildren play this game. A serious tone in FH would be very fun for me. Goofy is fun too, but not in a game that has an awesome aesthetic as this. All the goofy stuff for the most part just makes it look really dumb and out of place.

However, this is also coming from someone who likes only serious anime without the stupid facial expressions. I can't stand that chibi crap or whatever it's called.

Go back to ROBLOX young child, For Honor is too good to be played by people like you. Pay yourself an education too, everyone must be treated with respect despite our differences.

I am 41 with 3 boys of my own...my oldest is 13 and has played FH with me since release (thanks to the ability to turn off dismemberments)...do i count as a manchild? (My wife has learned to accept it) Im too old to be any good but I reallt enjoy my effects and emotes. They add so much personality to this game.

Yup, you'd be a manchild and that would make you part of the target audience for them.

I'm not against emotes and effects, I acknowledge there are a few very funny, I use them from time to time, I'm asking against emotes spamming and toxic behavior, and there's a lot of those in this game.

And this is the toxic behavior that I was talking about.
Maybe this are kids, but this just as emote spamming is not healthy fun, it's disrespectful.

it just wouldnt work bro, if I try to do an honorable emote and the guy punishes me for it the game immediately becomes more toxic. emote spam/trash talk is half the fun. the world is a cruel place and im sorry your soul is hurt by someone hitting the emote key and movement key repeatedly but try to build up a tolerance.

More than my soul it hurts my eyes. If emote spamming is half the fun, then this is a very awful game.
Again, the toxic behavior should be allowed to be reported, and what you said already happens in the game.
And saying that the world is a cruel place is a poor excuse to the matter.
Let me get this straight, I'm not offended for emmote spamming, is annoying and contributes to an already toxic community.
I don't get mad because someone spams an emote to me, but it's frustrating to see that more and more players prefer spamming emotes than actually playing the game.
