Put a 3 sec. lock on emotes

This will help stop emote spamming. This community is pretty toxic already, this will help reduce it a little bit. Some emotes are funny and other are cool, but no player uses them fully, they just spam the first frames of the emote animation over and over, and it's f•u•c•k•i•n•g annoying.
With the Y4 musical emotes is even worse. People just spam this instead of playing the match.
And please, just add a "Toxic Behavior" tag to the report list, there's do many things that can be classifieds as such in this game that doesn't fit in any other tags, such as:
    - Emote spamming
    - Intentional friendly fire

Please help us make this community a better one.

Unfortunately i don't think it will ever happen. Even devs on their Twitter put spam emote GIFs. But yeah, this is annoying and something like in Dark Souls for emote would be very cool. More emote choice and you cannot spam.

    No.

Emote spamming is a meme and half the fun of emoting in the first place is it's "spam factor".

Stop being so sensitive to it. If someone beats my butt into oblivion and then grabs the dingleberries out of my beaten butt by spamming the snowball fight emote over my cold lifeless corpse, I laugh.

Well, you have to be able to cancel the emote quickly if you are doing a combat emote for instance. What if you opponent attacks you at that same second?

If it is a knight forward thrust emote, it could deal 40 damage and work as a bash

Good for you if it make you laugh but it's not all people who like to see/ear r.etarded emote and voice spam. It's FOR HONOR, a game with warriors of civilizations of the past, not a game like Fortnite by example.

Too many little kids play this game. It amuses them. Personally I want this game to have a serious undertone to it which is why I turn effects and what not off, but the little kids like it so I guess if we must let them have their enjoyment so be it.

I'm not saying that you shouldn't be able to cancel your emote, but a 3 sec. lock after doing it would prevent the really annoying emote spamming.

If the game was targeted to little kids it would be rated E or E+10, but no, we have an M rated game.
I don't want the game to be serious, I like it fun, but I find nothing funny in emote spamming. I never use effects, but I turned off entirely because, with emote spamming, they affected my visibility and ended up more than once because I couldn't see what what's attacking me.
And as I said, it annoying and frustrating to see my team emote spamming instead of trying to play the match, even when we are losing.
