    It's unnecessary, Kindly remove it

    Hello guys ,

Just watched the den , I love this event of Prince of Persia

But I noticed something that i don't recommend

I don't know why but the holy name of 'Allah' is carved on the warlord's shield in Arabic

Cultures are welcomed but please put religions out of this matter

    Thank you .

I dont recommend trying to enforce your personal rules in western culture.
Any group of people that tries to enforce their own rules in art or other popular media will never be viewed as anything else than criminals in the western world (and i would love to use the T... word here but i think the mods would actually consider that an offense which is ridiculous enough as it is).

    Sincerely.

Dude, you are doing exactly what you're accusing him of doing.
He's just making a very valid point, cultures are very welcome, but religion should be left out of this, precisely to avoid this kind of conflict.
You are very wrong by talking about "western world" like that, is exactly like calling America to USA, is narrow minded.

Vikings are shouting "Valhalla", Jormungandr is named after a "God" in northern mythology. So who cares?

Jormungander is not a God, is a mythical giant serpent destined to bring Ragnarok and kill Thor, and Valhalla is a place where warrior go if they die with honor to feast at Odin's table.
In neither are they mentioning a god.
Using a carving of the name Allah is like puting Jesus face in the chest of any hero.
In the game there's only one mention of a god, and it's made by Shaolin, he yells something like "Buda bless you".
Anyway, I'm not a religious person, but I do believe that out of respect, the name of Allah should not be in the game.

It's all part of Scandinavian religion. Odin is a god. Valhalla is the "heaven" of northern mythology, if you want to call it.

    Oh and Buddha isn't a god, he's a prophet.

Nevermind all the hillarious Jesus T-shirts and mugs you can buy.

The decision of wether or not something is in good taste is not the issue and the answer is one that every individual has to be allowed to make on its own - this is why we call our modern world "free".

It is the idea that any one group of people should be allowed to control art/media.

    Let me reemphasize
I find religion offensive, the very idea to believe without proof is beyond stupid and nothing good will ever come of a mindset like that. I think all religion should be outlawed and all religious buildings in cities destroyed. All clothing that displays religious affiliation banned everywhere. it is extremely disrespectful towards the only one truth which is science that religion is allowed to exist in the modern world.
But because we live in a free world i TOLERATE things that i find disrespectful or in this case completely idiotic and dangerous.

You HAVE to be willing to just dislike things without insisting they will be changed to accomodate your personal taste/lifestyle/whatever. Doing anything else will lead to constant war worldwide. There are way too many people in the world who all want different things. If youre scared of "disrespecting" any person on the planet at any point in time then all youre able to do is hide somewhere underground and stare at your feet.

    It does not fking work.

    Bonus edit:
Art / Entertainment media is the least serious form of expression out in the world. Muslims have BOMBED a satirical newspaper!!! Who the hell bombs a satirical newspaper - that is completely insane. Imagine what they will do if something they dont like happens in the real world in front of their eyes.
These people need to learn tolerance. Yet here we are - again - with muslims requesting from people across the world that their art bends to whatever muslims deem appropriate.
So, you're the "other side" extremist? Everyone should be allowed his believings, that's respect, and you are not showing any, and you try to justify yourself by claiming "science, science".
I'm not a religious man, I'm an atheist, and I do believe that science is absolute, but not to the extreme that is believing that every religious expression should be destroyed. Sacred art is beautiful, there are architectonic wonders in the religious buildings, mostly antique ones, so no, those shouldn't be destroyed.
You think no one should try to impose his thoughts to any other person but that's exactly what you're doing here, specially when you're calling all the musmlims T.
I wonder, have you ever even tried to talk to a muslim?
Saying that every muslim is a T, is like saying that you're a fascist or a Nazi just because you're german, or calling me a narc because I'm mexican.
For someone who says that science should be the only thing to guide people in the modern world you talk in absolutes too much, and science doesn't allow absolutes, even when its goal is the truth.
I believe that a carving of Allah's name should not be in the game, out of respect.

You're right about Buddha (I wrote it wrong before), my bad. But it's still a current religious symbol.
And what you call Scandinavian religion currently it's more Vikings' lore.
The current predominant religion in the Scandinavian region is Lutheran Christianity. And as lore, it can be used without much trouble.
I don't remember one part of the game where Odin's name is mentioned, maybe in Story mode, but I don't remember, and Vikings didn't had a heaven, just places where they go when they die.
Maybe some of us won't be offended by the use of religious symbols in the game, but there's people that do, and that should not happen. This is not a game that has a theme that easily creates controversy, it should remain that way.
