I was willing to deal with the underwhelming WoNY campaign.
I was willing to deal with the ****ty loot of gear 2.0 and the complete nerfing of most builds.
I was willing to deal with the overtuned difficulties and being one-shot even with all blue gear.
And I was willing to deal with the litany of bugs and glitches that your QA team seems utterly incapable of finding, so much so in fact that you expect us, your playerbase, to do the job of your QA team and find all of the bugs for you. Except we're not being paid for the service provided.
I was willing to deal with all of that. But this, this was the final straw.
How are you so utterly incompetent that you couldn't even deploy a few minor fixes without breaking the entire servers thus preventing your players from being able to play without being disconnected every 5 minutes? This is outrageous.
I'm done. This is a broken product, and as a result, we customers are entitled to a refund for said broken product. Anything less is unacceptable.
Also, fire your pathetic excuse for a QA team, because it's obvious they don't know how to do their jobs properly.
this has to be one of the worst updates I have ever experienced.Originally Posted by Remmie1066 Go to original post
It would be hilarious if it wasn't so bad. Almost nothing works correctly, promises made when the game launched were just outright changed, fixes are implemented daily at random times only to break more things
season comes up only to add even more broken stuff
fun elements stripped out for boring cookie cutter versions
exotics got a no-fun allowed nerf.
Before this circus with the constant disconnects started, a couple of hours ago, I got The Chatterbox SMG, from a yellow enemy sniper. Guess what, every attribute on it is worse than a level 40 yellow SMG...Originally Posted by CloudWOmega Go to original post
Not really. You're just dodging the facts.Originally Posted by As1r0nimo Go to original post
It's embarrassing that their unscheduled maintenance fix causes a bigger problem than those it was supposed to fix. I agree that Massive and their QA team seem to be a bit out of their depth right now. They did pretty well on Div2 at its release (the game was lauded for releasing in a stable and feature-complete state), but now they locked themselves into a tight release schedule of seasonal content that may ultimately be too ambitious for them. With such a fixed schedule, it becomes much harder to test things properly.
That said, the gameplay cotinues to be really good and some of the new content looks pretty interesting. I don't see a problem with waiting a bit until they get things fixed. It's not like I don't have anything else to play or do.
Well they did mention yesterday in SOTG there weren't going to use PTS for any new balancing updates. So we are actually stuck with playing on a test server now and every change they make can break game play. When it happens they need to figure out what went wrong and fix it. If that takes days all players will be left with broken game play. Not to forget the server down periods when doing maintenance to apply these changes.
But hey, welcome to games as service ... it's just hilarious.
