    Dirt on guns...

I brought this up during the BETA already...

So why are guns getting dirty almost instantly once you kneel down or just run through foliage and bushes turning the rifles green or leaving them caked up in mud for far too long after you already left (prone) cover and your clothing also lost most of it after a minute or so?

What's the point of having a new weapon paint customization option (which I love) when your guns stays completely green or brown most of the time anyway?

Are you ever going to fix that or at least give us the option to turn it off?

This effect fading faster both to weapons and your clothes/vests (or option to disable it, but the prone camo effect would be weird without the dirty after) would be good.

So after the latest TU (it's really good btw!) I played more than just the first 2-3 missions and it's even worse than I thought. Not only do rifles and holstered pistols get instantly dirty, turning completely green or brown simply by kneeling down anywhere, it also happens while standing still and using the drone for example: kneel down with a clean rifle, use drone for 10 seconds, return to your character and the rifle is now magcially caked up in mud (sometimes even in urban areas near plants)

Also it's constantly switching between all white, all brown and all green in a matter of a few seconds like a chameloan, absolutely unrealistic, ugly, annoying and for me personally gamebreaking because all that customization for my characters gear and weapon/parts colors becomes meaningless and is the opposite of immersion or realism.

Why is my rifle turning all white while kneeling NEAR snow even tho the rifles makes no contact with the ground? Why does it stay white/green/brown for over 30mins even tho my clothing is already clean again?

I really really hope you'll fix this with the next patch, either let us turn it off completely, only make them all muddy or snowy (green dusty mold makes zero sense) when actually going prone AND using the prone camo option, and let it fade away at the same speed your clothing does.

yeah it's kind of annoying...what if they've made it last a little longer for clothes and less for guns? I'd love to see it the mud last a little longer on clothes.

yeh people have been complaining about this since the early days even with the screaming headshots yet these ubiPARIS devs cant figure anything out since they hire amatuers to save overhead costs. ubiPARIS just needs to be disbanded and focus on a another studio in another country.
